We can be grieving and grateful.
    Terrified and excited.
    Heartbroken and hopeful.

Because being human isn’t about choosing one emotion over another.
It’s about learning how to hold them all with compassion.

  • 29. In Case of Emergency, Press Play: Imposter Syndrome
    2026/08/19

So when self-doubt starts blowing through your brain like a leaf blower with a personal vendetta…press play.

Before you listen, you’ve been listening to us and now it’s our turn to listen to you!

We want to hear from you. What topics would you like us to explore?

What meditation do you need right now? Is there a story you’d like to share?

Send us your thoughts, ideas, questions, or experiences at WDPFTpodcast@gmail.com.

Your stories help shape this community, and they often inspire future episodes.

And if you’d like to help our little podcast grow, don’t forget to rate, review, subscribe, and share.

Ever feel like everyone else knows exactly what they’re doing while you’re one awkward moment away from being exposed?

    Welcome to imposter syndrome.

Imposter syndrome is that tiny little pip-squeak voice that convinces you that you’re not qualified, don’t belong, or haven’t earned your place yet.

In this guided meditation, you’ll learn how to recognize self-doubt without letting it make your decisions and remember that growth doesn’t require perfection.

Because feeling uncertain doesn’t mean you’re unqualified.

It means you’re still growing. It means you’re human.

  • 197. We Didn't Plan For This: The Art of Rebellious Success
    2026/08/18

What if resilience isn’t about bouncing back?

What if it’s about refusing to stay down?

In this episode of We Didn’t Plan for This, Adrienne and Nora sit down with Paralympic medalist, World Champion, Army veteran, and self-proclaimed rebel, Lia Coryell.

As one of eight children growing up in extreme poverty, Lia learned early that waiting for life to hand you an opportunity wasn’t a strategy. In kindergarten, Lia Coryell decided she wasn’t going to be the “leftover kid.” She was going to learn everything she possibly could.

That determination led her to the military, which she saw as her path out of poverty. Even after breaking her leg during basic training, she kept moving forward.

And that theme would continue throughout her life.

Throughout this conversation, one message rises above everything else: Be rebellious. But be rebellious successfully.

Lia reminds us that resilience isn’t something we’re born with. It’s something we build through curiosity, advocacy, hard work, and the willingness to keep showing up when life doesn’t go according to plan.

And in true We Didn’t Plan for This fashion, she leaves us with a choice we’ll never forget: You can become bitter. Or you can become better.

  • 196. Grain By Grain: Guided Meditation
    2026/08/17

We all carry things we were never meant to hold forever.

    Stress. Grief. Expectations. Worry. Regret.

In this guided meditation led by Mia, you’ll imagine carrying a heavy sandbag filled with everything that’s weighing you down. But as the practice unfolds, something begins to change.

    A small hole appears.

Then, grain by grain, the sand begins to fall away.

With each breath, the burden becomes a little lighter. The weight shifts. Your shoulders soften. The things you’ve been holding so tightly begin to loosen their grip.

You don’t have to drop everything all at once.

  • 27. In Case of Emergency, Press Play: Solar Eclipse
    2026/08/12

Inspired by the August 12th Solar Eclipse, this guided meditation is about the moments when something moves between you and the light.

Whether it’s fear, grief, change or uncertainty that causes the shadows to form, the light hasn’t disappeared just because we can’t see it.

Take a few moments to ground yourself, breathe, and remember that you don’t have to see the entire path forward.

Sometimes a sliver of light is enough.

When you can’t see the light, press play.
