Well, the air conditioning might just be making you fat...but the real elephant in the room is that it's really really hard to get our subconscious, emotions, and biology to respond to rational thought, especially when we're trying to make a change! It's a little bit like somebody riding an elephant: you can steer the elephant, sort of. But it will be a lot easier to guide if it has a path to follow.
On this episode, the coaches discuss ways to adapt your physical environment (key terrain, as Josh calls it. He is a Marine after all) to help your subconscious elephant develop better habits, even when you don't feel like it.
Also on this episode:
-Josh and Jordan run the USMC Physical Fitness Test: Josh scores a 266, Jordan a 255.
-A crazy running story about an accidental marathon.
-Josh forgets his rugby teammates names and has to call them by nicknames in court in front of a judge.
