  • How Much Protein Do You Actually Need?
    2026/08/27

How much protein do you actually need? Depending on which website you check, you'll get an answer anywhere from 40 grams a day to well over 150. That's not you being confused, that's an actual contradiction, and there's a simple reason it exists: the official recommended intake is a bare minimum to avoid deficiency, and the protein powder industry has a real incentive to tell you the number is much higher than that.
In this one I'm cutting through both ends and giving you a reasonable range, a dead simple way to hit it without tracking a single gram, what a normal day actually looks like, and four protein myths worth busting, including the 30 minute window, whether powder's actually necessary, and whether more protein automatically means more fat loss.
If this helped, a like and a subscribe genuinely helps a small creator like me keep going, and if you know someone who's been stressing over protein numbers that don't actually matter that much, send this their way.

  • Why Walking Is Better Than You Think
    2026/08/25

Walking barely gets promoted in the fitness industry, and there's a simple reason why: there's almost nothing to sell off the back of it. No membership, no program, probably not even new shoes. That doesn't mean it doesn't work. It's actually one of the best things you can do for fat loss, especially combined with a bit of strength training, and it breaks a few assumptions most people have about what "real" exercise looks like.
In this one I'm going through four things people get wrong about walking and fat loss, why time on your feet matters more than distance, how the incidental stuff (stairs, parking further away, an early bus stop) adds up more than you'd think, and why the boring, consistent version of movement always beats the version you're still waiting to feel ready for.
If this helped, a like and a subscribe genuinely helps a small creator like me keep going, and if you know someone who thinks walking doesn't count as real exercise, send this their way.

  • Don't Know Where To Start With Fitness? Start Here
    2026/08/20

You look at your body and think, I need to change this. Then the gym feels too expensive or too intimidating, the food advice contradicts itself every five minutes, and you end up doing nothing, again. This isn't a discipline problem. It's an industry that profits from keeping you confused and thinking you need to buy something before you're allowed to start.
In this one I'm breaking down why the gym feels so impossible (and why you genuinely don't need one), why the diet advice keeps flip-flopping, and what starting actually looks like when you strip all the noise away. Spoiler: it's a lot smaller and a lot more boring than you've been led to believe, and that's exactly why it works.
This is video one of a four-part series. Next up: why so many women who've tried everything still end up right back at square one.
If this helped, a like and a subscribe genuinely helps a small creator like me keep going, and if you know someone stuck in this exact loop, send it their way.

  • How I'm Building Consistency After a Long Break
    2026/08/20

I'm a health coach, and I haven't trained consistently in ten months. Here's exactly how that happened - a hundred kilometre ultra through the Snowy Mountains, a push for the podium the following year, and a burnout that ended with me stopping at 44km, not injured, just done. The rest that followed became a habit. Ten months of it.
But this video isn't about the burnout. It's about what I'm actually doing to get back - one habit, picked because I'd still do it on my worst day, stacked on top of the last one only once it's fully automatic. No comeback plan, no finish line, no six-week challenge. Just breakfast, then an hour of movement a day, then whatever's next once those stop needing willpower.
This is the last video in a four-part series. If you haven't seen the others yet, go back and watch those first.
If this helped, a like and a subscribe genuinely helps a small creator like me keep going, and if you know someone sitting in their own version of this gap, send this their way.

  • Why You’re Still Confused About Diet and Exercise
    2026/08/20

Fat was the villain in the 90s. Then it was carbs. Then protein. Then sugar came back harder than the first time. Training's done the exact same dance - HIIT, then zone two, then functional, then whatever's on TikTok this month. None of it was ever meant to resolve, because a confused customer keeps buying and a clear one stops.
In this one I'm laying out the actual pattern behind every trend reversal, why butter and coffee and eggs keep flipping from villain to hero and back again, and who genuinely benefits from you staying stuck in the noise. Then I'm stripping it back to the six boring things that actually matter - movement, protein, fibre, sleep, hydration, consistency - and none of them need a purchase.
This is video three of a four-part series. If you haven't seen videos one and two yet, start there. Next up: I stop talking theory and show you what all of this actually looks like when I live it myself, messy parts included.
If this helped, a like and a subscribe genuinely helps a small creator like me keep going, and if you know someone drowning in conflicting health advice, send this their way.

  • Most Women Who've Tried Every Diet Have This One Thing in Common
    2026/08/20

Every diet you've ever tried had one thing in common, it asked you to throw out your entire lifestyle and replace it with someone else's. New pantry, new training split, new rules, all starting Monday. It works for a week or two, right up until life gets messy and you default straight back to the habits that were sitting underneath the whole time. That's not a willpower failure. That's just how overhauls are built to collapse.
In this one I'm breaking down exactly why that cycle repeats - motivation, overhaul, impossible to maintain, fall off, guilt, restart - and what actually works instead: layering one small thing into the life you already have, letting it become automatic, then adding the next one. No pantry clear-out, no five-day split, no scales.
This is video two of a four-part series. If you haven't seen video one yet, start there. Next up: if the plans were never really the problem, why does the industry keep selling you a new one?
If this helped, a like and a subscribe genuinely helps a small creator like me keep going, and if you know someone stuck in the restart cycle, send this their way.
