  • This Is Me Today - Raw, Tired, Still Fighting 💚
    2025/11/19

Some days you do everything right… and your body still has other plans.

Chronic illness has a way of humbling even the strongest of us. You can rest, pace, nourish yourself and still wake up feeling worse. It’s not failure. It’s the reality of a body that’s carrying more than most people will ever understand.

I felt this deeply after coming home from what was meant to be a restorative holiday. Instead of returning refreshed, I returned in a flare. And it reminded me again, how unpredictable this journey is, even when we’re doing all the “right” things.

This isn’t a story about going backwards.

It’s a reminder that healing isn’t linear, and progress doesn’t always look like improvement. Sometimes progress is simply staying compassionate with yourself as your body navigates something hard.

    You’re not failing.

You’re evolving in ways your past self could never have imagined.

Honour the version of you who is here, today, doing their best.
