  • Ep 33 - One Day, You’ll Wish You Could Come Back Here
    2026/08/28

What if you could fast-forward 20 years into the future, look back at your life today, and then come back for just five minutes?

    What would you notice?

The people around you. Your family. Your health. Your home. The conversations. The ordinary moments you don't think twice about.

In Episode 33, we talk about something we rarely realize while we're living it:

One day, you may desperately wish you could come back to the life you're living right now.

We're always chasing the next goal, the next paycheck, the next accomplishment, the next chapter. But sometimes, in trying to build a better future, we forget to appreciate the present.

This episode is about slowing down, being present, appreciating the people you love, and realizing that today doesn't have to be perfect to be worth remembering.

Because someday, this moment will be a memory.

Don't wait until then to appreciate it.

    This is The Performance Lab.

  • Ep 32 - Ask Coach #3
    2026/08/27

The Performance Lab just hit a milestone.

We officially have our first client inside the workout program.

For me, this is a big moment because The Performance Lab is no longer just an idea I'm talking about. We're actually coaching someone, putting the program into practice, learning what works, making adjustments, and building toward the bigger vision.

Then we're getting into Ask Coach #3, featuring four real questions that were sent to me. I received permission from each person before sharing their question, including one that I actually got confirmation to share right before recording this episode.

We talk about staying consistent when results aren't coming fast enough, knowing when to push versus recover, starting over after falling off, and the biggest thing I wish everyone understood before trying to get in shape.

One client. Four real questions. One more step toward building The Performance Lab.

    This is just the beginning.

  • Ep 31 - I’m Building Something Bigger Than a Podcast
    2026/08/26

The Performance Lab is becoming a lot more than a podcast.

In this episode, I pull back the curtain and show you everything I'm building—the podcast, content, Performance Lab Journal, Etsy shop, 30-Day Email Challenge, 45-Day Transformation Program, and the long-term goal of becoming an online coach through The Performance Lab app.

The ultimate goal is to build a place where you can eventually train with me, get personalized programming, nutrition guidance, accountability, and one-on-one coaching—all through the Performance Lab app.

    But we're not there yet.

Right now, we're building it piece by piece.

And if you're here early, you're getting to watch the entire thing happen.

  • Ep 30 - You Don't Have a Nutrition Problem
    2026/08/25

Most people already know what they should be eating.

They know protein matters. They know fruits and vegetables are important. They know they probably shouldn't live on fast food and snacks.

So why is nutrition still so difficult?

In Episode 30, Coach Tuel takes a different look at nutrition—not another list of foods you should or shouldn't eat, but the decisions behind what you eat.

We talk about why one bad meal doesn't ruin your progress, how your environment influences your choices, why perfection makes nutrition harder, and the question you should ask before you eat:

    “Is this actually worth it?”

Because successful nutrition isn't about being perfect.

It's about making better decisions consistently.

  • Ep 29 - What If You’re the Problem?
    2026/08/24

It's easy to point the finger when life isn't going the way you want.

Your boss. Your coach. Your circumstances. Your spouse. Your schedule. Your luck.

But what happens when you stop asking “Whose fault is this?” and start asking “What part of this is mine?”

In Episode 29, Coach Tuel breaks down the difference between blame and responsibility, why repeating the same problems should make you look at your own patterns, and how taking ownership can actually give you your power back.

You may not be responsible for everything that happens to you.

But you are responsible for what you do next.

    This is The Performance Lab.

  • Ep 28- What If You’re Not Actually Lazy?
    2026/08/23

What if “lazy” isn't actually the problem?

Sometimes what looks like laziness is fear, overwhelm, exhaustion, confusion, lack of purpose, or simply chasing a goal you don't actually want.

In Episode 28 of The Performance Lab Podcast, Coach Tuel breaks down what might really be keeping you stuck—and why asking “What’s actually stopping me?” is a much better question than calling yourself lazy.

Because before you can fix the problem, you have to figure out what the problem actually is.

Stop labeling yourself. Start figuring yourself out.

    This is The Performance Lab.

  • Episode 27 | ASK COACH #2
    2026/08/22

We're bringing back Ask Coach—and this time, we're getting into some real questions.

In Episode 27, I answer four questions that hit fitness, training, and sports from a coach's perspective:

If I had to start completely over with my body tomorrow, what would I do first?

Is counting calories actually necessary, or are people overcomplicating fat loss?

Can you actually get in great shape training only 3 days a week?

What's one thing I see athletes doing that immediately tells me they're probably not going to make it?

No gimmicks. No complicated answers. Just the fundamentals, the mistakes I see people making, and what I believe actually separates people who make progress from people who constantly start over.

Train smart. Master the basics. Stay coachable. Keep showing up.

    That's The Performance Lab.

  • Ep - 26 YOU DON'T NEED MORE MOTIVATION — You Need Discipline
    2026/08/21

How many times have you told yourself, “I just need to get motivated”?

The problem is, motivation doesn't last.

In Episode 26 of The Performance Lab Podcast, we break down why you can't build your life around how you feel—and why discipline, consistency, and keeping your word matter so much more than motivation.

    We talk about:

    • Why motivation is temporary
    • The difference between wanting something and deciding to pursue it
    • Why you don't have to feel like it to get it done
    • How to stop negotiating with yourself
    • Why the best athletes don't rely on motivation
    • Using the 10-minute rule to get started
    • Knowing the difference between legitimate recovery and making excuses
    • Why your feelings are information, not instructions

You don't need to feel motivated.

You need to decide what matters—and then do it.

Motivation gets you moving. Discipline keeps you moving. Consistency changes you.

    That's The Performance Lab.
