👉 YOU are the expert of your own body!

I’m really glad you’re here today — because this episode lands in one of my favorite, and most overlooked, pockets of the year: the in-between.

    The days after Christmas.
    Before the New Year.
Before the detoxes, the challenges, the promises, and the pressure start shouting at us.

    Today isn’t about fixing anything.
    It’s about pausing.
    Resetting.
And keeping your head on straight while the wellness world ramps up the noise.

As we head toward a new year, I want to gently remind you of something powerful: you are the expert on your own body. You’ve lived in it. You’ve tried the plans. You know what worked, what didn’t, and what left you feeling discouraged or disconnected from yourself.

In this episode, we’re talking about why health is never as simple as “just do better,” why one-size-fits-all advice can quietly create shame, and how to reflect on the past year in a way that actually sets you up for sustainable progress — not another cycle of starting over.

So if you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the New Year messaging…
If you’re craving clarity instead of chaos…
And if you want to enter this next season with intention, not pressure…

You’re exactly where you need to be.
    Let’s dive in.

  • Breaking Free From Diet Culture: A Better Weight Loss Mindset for the New Year
    2025/12/17

Send a text for comments or topics ideas!

👉 You don’t need another extreme plan.
👉 You don’t need to be more disciplined.
👉 You don’t need to punish your body to change it.

What you do need is a different mindset.

    What Diet Culture Gets Wrong

    Diet culture teaches us:

    • All-or-nothing thinking
    • “Start over” mentalities
    • Moralizing food (good vs. bad)
    • Quick fixes over long-term health

And while it may promise fast results, it often leaves us feeling:

    • Burned out
    • Deprived
    • Distrustful of our own bodies
    • Stuck in cycles of losing and regaining

That’s not failure — that’s a system designed without sustainability in mind.

A Better Way Forward: Consistency Over Extremes

Breaking free from diet culture doesn’t mean you stop caring about your health or weight. It means you stop tying your worth and success to perfection.

A healthier weight loss mindset focuses on:

    • Consistency over time, not intensity
    • Gentle structure, not rigid rules
    • Adding supportive habits, not stripping everything away
    • Progress that fits real life, not an idealized version of it

This is how lasting change actually happens.

  • Burnout, Cortisol & Weight Gain: Decoding the Signs - with Dietitian, Christa Biegler

Is it time to love on your adrenals? If you missed EPISODE PART I - head over to 👉https://youtu.be/oMs9OWPmMHg

Today we’re diving into Part II with Christa Biegler—an award-winning dietitian and truly one of the most trusted, research-driven voices on hormones, cortisol, and all things metabolism. In this episode, we’re placing a special spotlight on something so many high-achieving women overlook: our adrenal health.

Christa shares her powerful “gas pedal” analogy—how women often push harder through exhaustion, ignoring the subtle signals our bodies are sending. Instead of resting, we convince ourselves that accomplishing more will help us feel better, do better… and that can lead us straight into burnout.

If you’re a woman who’s feeling frustrated with stubborn weight loss, unexpected weight gain, or just feeling depleted no matter how hard you try—this conversation is for you. Because sometimes it’s not about more effort… it’s about understanding what your body is begging for.

Ready to explore another essential piece of the puzzle that could unlock more energy, more clarity, and a healthier you?

    Let’s dive in.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Christa is the founder of Less Stressed Life Nutrition, where she helps clients reduce inflammation, uncover root causes, and finally feel better using practical, evidence-based strategies.

Whether you suspect food sensitivities, struggle with chronic symptoms, or feel stuck in trial-and-error mode… this conversation will give you clarity, confidence, and a plan that actually makes sense.

  • The Power of a Word of the Year for Sustainable Weight Loss
    2025/12/10

Send a text for comments or topics ideas!

Choosing a Word of the Year.

This single word becomes your compass — a guiding theme that shapes your decisions, your energy, and the way you move through the world. It’s not about perfection. It's about direction.

✨ Why a Word of the Year Matters

    A well-chosen word can:

    • Create focus when life feels scattered
    • Support aligned decision-making (you can literally hold choices up to it)
    • Offer emotional grounding through the highs and lows
    • Clarify your values without the pressure of rigid goals
    • Encourage personal growth in a sustainable, soul-centered way

Think of it as a quiet but powerful partner walking through the year with you.

🧭 How to Choose Your Word

You can pick your word through journaling, reflection, intuition — or a combination of all three. Here are a few prompts to get you started:

    • What do I need more of this year?
    • What am I ready to release?
    • Who am I becoming?
    • What feeling do I want to experience most often?

Let your word rise naturally. Often your first instinct is the right one.

    🌱 Examples to Inspire You

    • Expand — if you’re ready to stretch into new experiences
    • Restore — if you crave rest, healing, or recalibration
    • Courage — if you want to take bolder steps
    • Presence — if you’re aiming for mindfulness and connection
    • Flow — if you want ease instead of force

Your word is yours. Make it meaningful.

  • How to Read Your Body’s Clues: From Dry Skin to Fatigue (A Dietitian’s Guide) - with Christa Biegler
    2025/12/05

Send a text for comments or topics ideas!

🧴✨ What Your Skin Is Trying to Tell You About Your Health
Why itchiness, dryness, and breakouts might be more than “just skin issues.”

This week’s podcast episode dives into a topic so many women quietly struggle with: skin issues that seem to appear out of nowhere — itchiness, dryness, redness, rashes, breakouts, and even brain fog that accompanies them.

Our guest is an award-winning dietitian who specializes in inflammation and food sensitivities, and she sheds light on something surprising:

👉 Your skin might be sending you messages about what’s happening inside your body.

    If you’ve ever wondered…

Why is my skin suddenly so dry?
Why am I itchy for no reason?
Is this rash related to something I ate?
Why do I feel inflamed or foggy even when labs look “normal”?
…then this conversation is absolutely for you.

    💡 My Biggest Takeaway

As I listened back to this interview, I realized I kept asking for bulleted lists and quick answers — and that’s so relatable for high-achieving women.
    We want the plan.
    We want the fix.
    We want the step-by-step.

But the real magic of this episode is the reminder that we don’t have to know everything right away.

Today isn’t the day to diagnose yourself.
Today is the day to lean into curiosity.

If your skin is acting up…
    If your energy feels off…
If your body feels inflamed or overwhelmed…

This episode helps you ask, “Is my body trying to get my attention?”

  • Strong NOT Self-Sacrificing: Reclaiming Your Health & Weight Goals - with Dr. Emma Jones
    2025/11/29

Send a text for comments or topics ideas!

👉 Does this resonate with you, high-achieving women? That quiet exhaustion of holding up the world—and doing it in a way that somehow manages not to lose your own dreams, goals, and identity in the process?

    🎙️ Episode Highlights:

    • The hidden costs of caregiving no one talks about
    • Why self-sacrifice can derail weight-loss efforts
    • How burnout shows up in the body
    • What “strong—not self-sacrificing” really looks like
    • Why meaning matters more than perfection
Small shifts that create emotional and physical relief

🔗 Connect with Dr. Emma Jones: https://www.emmajonesmd.com/

Dr. Emma Jones speaks directly to that invisible weight we carry. She shares the hidden grief of constantly postponing our own desires to meet the needs of everyone else. And she brings a unique lens to this conversation: she’s a hospice and palliative care physician who has walked alongside women in their final years. She has witnessed their regrets, their wisdom, and the emotional cost of a lifetime of caregiving.

What surprised me most—and what I know will resonate with so many of you—is how familiar her guidance sounds: boundaries, micro-changes, avoiding deprivation, and finding meaning rather than chasing perfection. These are the same themes I see in my clients every day. We cannot talk about health or weight loss without acknowledging the deeper layers beneath the surface… and one of those layers is burnout.

But today’s conversation doesn’t frame burnout as failure. Instead, our guest helps us reimagine it as an invitation—a nudge toward small but powerful shifts, toward ease, toward purpose, toward a gentler way of being in our bodies and our lives.

If you are ready to exhale, to soften, and to find a safer place to land… stay tuned.
