This week's conversation is from the Book of Business. This is one I had to pull from the archives. This isn't your typical real estate success story. I had the pleasure of sitting down with a good friend of mine Deontae Posley aka @theroommateinvestor. Deontae breaks down how at age 31 he created a multi-million real estate business by literally renting out single bedrooms. And how he manages it while still working a 9 to 5. He also speaks to this principle he called "the natural progression". As defined by me, Natural Progression is the concept of how things naturally unfold when you commit to something.  If you stay in your lane and follow your conviction, you will inevitably succeed.

The key is to commit, keep your head down, and just move. His goal is to help others get into real estate and be smart in the beginning. Whether you are interested in getting involved with real estate, or just looking for overall gems, this episode is for you.

In today's episode, I want to remind you that you possess everything you need to move into the next season but there are things we must shed.  We must shed fear.   We need to understand the perfect will of God is already in works and there is nothing we need more. And lastly, we need to know we do not need permission to move forward.

One of my favorite coaching moments in the Bible is between God and Moses. In Exodus chapter 14: 15, Moses for a split second forgot about all the power God equipped him with. In this scene, Moses is stuck between the Egyptians who are looking to harm the people of Israel, and the Red Sea. As the Egyptians are approaching, Moses turns to the sky and calls on God.  But in this moment God didn’t respond with "my faithful servant" or "my most devoted", he responded with a question and command " Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on."

Like Moses, I believe God is telling many of us to Just Move!   There is a season for fasting and praying, and there is a season for action. I believe many of us are in the season for action but are waiting for permission. I submit to you that this next season is Green Light Season. Just move until God says otherwise.

Do you sometimes get frustrated and anxious that the ideas you are working on are not progressing at your speed? What are you holding on to that’s not allowing you to change or grow? As the seasons change, so must you. God will only increase where there’s patience and faith; you must surrender your timeline to the Holy Spirit for things to change.

In this episode, I dive deeper into the wisdom of Genesis 1:26, where God declared, "Let us make mankind in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have dominion..." This verse reveals a powerful truth: identity is directly tied to authority. To put it plainly, you can't have true authority unless you grasp a deep understanding of who you are. Identity goes far beyond mere appearances and physical attributes; it's about finding your place of belonging and connecting with the source.

I know this journey personally. During the first season of the podcast, you were witnessing a live unfolding of this part of my journey. Unbeknownst to me, the evolution of self-awareness and discovery would lead to a desire to help others through their version.
