  • Ep. 76: why making your life pretty actually makes you successful
    2026/08/14

Beauty is something superficial, right? A purely personal preference without any real use? Of course the girl who color codes her notes in class with pretty highlighters and all her extensive stationary is just being extra, right? It won’t help her study. Well, actually, not really. While an aesthetic is a personal preference, it is also a whole body experience that scientifically seen, has a lot of influence on your emotions, motivation and calmness. When perceived something beautiful, dopamine is released, triggering your reward system. That means that you can - from a solely efficiency-oriented standpoint- hack your brain to crave studying, Running, working out even just feeling happier and less stressed, simply by making your life aestethic. May sound weird to some, too good to be true to some others and some may have already felt the positive impact of „romanticizing their life“ without knowing the psychology and neurology behind it.

  • Ep. 75: so you’re actually not supposed to get tired throughout the day
    2026/08/04

Always tired. Falling asleep in the middle of class. Not being able to concentrate and going on your phone the second you get home from school or work being exhausted to the bones. Having a midday crash and feeling completely unenergetic past 6pm. Many of these things are common, but should not be normal. We believe that our bodies are like a battery; you start your day recharged from sleep and throughout the day, you do things such as work or movement that drain energy, so that by the end of the day, you have no energy from your battery left and are ready to sleep. But does that not sound dreadful; running on a half empty tank for half your day? And more importantly; what happens when you don’t sleep well and wake up with an uncharged battery? The truth is that your body is not supposed to operate that way. Sure, your activities throughout the day can fatigue you. But the belief that sleep is the sole source of respiration is simply false. There are so many factors that determine your energy levels and things you can do - even apart from your nutrition, sleep patterns or general stress level - to recover even during the day. Because let’s be honest; you get home tired, you scroll for a few hours because you think that’s relaxing and want to stay awake to get some more work done later, but then you’re too tired for that sand end up sleeping way too late. Your morning energy starts with your night routine. If your body isn’t regulated and your brain is in stress mode, you won’t sleep or recover well. So let’s find out what we can do about this!

  • Ep. 74: learn how to learn (meta learning)
    2026/07/11

I think we have all forgotten how to actually learn. And I don’t just mean studying in school, I mean the capability to absorb knowledge. Whenever we don’t know something, we instantly google or ask ai. You’re not required to think critically and actually understand something by yourself anymore. But that’s the problem. We blindly follow what we’re being told because we forgot how to learn something by ourselves. Additionally, we were taught that „learning“ is just for school and something we’re forced to do. Naturally, when we didn’t HAVE to learn anymore, we just stopped. But there’s something so beautiful in learning things for yourself. Because the ones that know how to retain knowledge won’t only be the ones who end up on top in school or work, but also with their autonomy and self-fulfillment. So let’s relearn how to learn!

  • Ep. 73: how not to burn out
    2026/04/25

Once again, we all find ourselves back in an exam season. If you have a similar experience to mine, it feels as if this has been stretching on not for a few weeks but months now. Every day, front to end, there is a never ending list of tasks to complete, emergencies to manage and people to spend time with. Even with the best planning, you don’t seem to get a hold of all the things on your to-do-list. When you have just crossed one task of, three more emerge anew. As a result, we feel crushed down by the weight of pure responsibilities, always trying to rush from once place to another - mentally or physically - never staying and resting for just a second. By the end of the day, inevitably, we feel drained and burnt out. It is not you just being incapable, it’s the system we’re designed to live in. You just simply CAN‘T do everything all at once. But you have to. So how do we stay on top of our tasks to be successful and productive while not feeling as though we’re slowly dying every second of the day? That’s exactly what we’ll be talking about today!

    2026/03/22

Winter is FINALLY over, but I know we’re all still feeling the impact because seasonal depression IS unfortunately real. Me, personally, I’ve really also not been feeling my best lately and just found myself being constantly tired, too exhausted to go after things I usually enjoy and just feel like my life is falling apart bit by bit. So, this spring, we’re all getting back up and build-back the life of our dreams! What better way to do so is there, than inviting some whimsy back in our day-to-day? Sometimes, we think that we have to make these grand gestures or start radical changes to achieve betterment, but more often than not, it’s actually what we do on the daily and how we see our life that makes the biggest difference in happiness. It may seem small, but learning to slow down and romanticize your day with things you actually enjoy will have such an important impact!

  • Ep. 71: be your own valentine - how to BUILD self-love and confidence
    2026/03/01

So I know I know, I’m VERY late with this episode and Valentines day has long passed, however, the topic of self love and -confidence is timeless! Especially now, where we live in a time where everything and everyone is always connected, where you are constantly bombarded with so many different identities and groups of people, it can ver well feel as if you don’t belong. There are so many different expectations and so much you want or should be. But it’s not only about belonging with people, like when you may get sad seeing all of the happy couples together while you sat alone in your room on Feburary 14th or when everyone seems to have a set friend group that they always hang out and you’re getting fomo, no it’s just as much about the feeling of not belonging to yourself. Sometimes, we always try to be with other people to avoid the confrontation of spending time alone with yourself and having to be your own person, apart from everybody else’s opinions, interests and advice. So, how do we actually BUILD self-confidence and -love? I know it can seem as if people are just born confident, outgoing and in tune with themselves, but trust me, it’s a process. You have to become content with yourself first, before you can also build meaningful connections with others. And trust me, when you learn to work on being confident in yourself, you will actually start attracting other people naturally. “How do I do that, tho?”, you may ask? Well, good you’re here because I will tell you in just a second!

  • Ep. 70: how to stop putting pressure on yourself to actually become more productive
    2026/02/08

I know we have big goals for 2026 and these upcoming exams now that it’s February again. However, while I would be the first person to tell you that you can achieve ANYTHING you out your mind to as long as you actually and effectively work on it, exactly that point of “actually and effectively working on it” can lead to many problems. When we set these big goals for ourselves, visualize your future life as I always tell you to and you start working, highly motivated, it can feel as though you have to do EVERYTHING at once. We come to believe that every project, every habit and every hour of every day every week has to be FLAWLESS in order to be able to move forward. Trust me, I know the guilt of feeling as if you’re not working hard enough, not pouring enough effort and time into your future and as if you’re not getting any closer to the life we want. By doing this, you’re putting so much pressure on yourself; the pressure to do more, do it better and achieve faster, you are actually actively sabotaging our progress. Not only will you be constantly tired and stressed, never able to relax and never happy, but all that pressure will also immobilize you. In order to achieve greatness and something you have never had, yes, of course you have to put in the effort, but you also have to know how. Working hard doesn’t mean burning yourself out. That’s neither productive, nor healthy and definitely won’t help you progress. So here’s your guide on how to move forward with less pressure and more effectiveness!

  • Ep. 69: how to ACTUALLY feel energized in school (and not die during exam season)
    2026/02/01

As students, I think we all know the feeling; you wake up, already tired and completely stressed. You start your day by running around, always in a time crunch, still chewing your breakfast while running to school. When you finally arrive there, you’re drained and unable to focus, leaving you with the need to re-learn all the material after school. But when you are at home, the last thing you can do is sit down and study, no, even though you are trying to focus, you’re just to tired to get anything productive done. So instead, you collapse in your bed, scroll for a few hours and wake in a panic to finish all the homework due the next day. You sleep again late. Social life? Nonexistent. Energy? Never present. But we don’t want to dwell on the negative. Today, you’ll learn how to ACTUALLY be energized in school to feel your best, do your best and also have time and energy to have a life outside of academic stress.
