Als Gulliver seinen Weg fortsetzt, trifft er auf eine der widerwärtigen Kreaturen; er zieht seinen Säbel, schlägt das Tier mit der flachen Seite, so dass es brüllt, worauf die Herde vom Feld auf Gulliver zukommt und ihn mit Fäkalien besudelt. Plötzlich aber laufen sie davon, offenbar von einem Pferd verscheucht.
