  • Matthew 22 | The Greatest Commandment | Daily Bible Reading (WEB)
    2026/11/06

Daily Bible Reading: Matthew 22, read in full from the World English Bible (WEB).

Matthew 22 begins with a wedding feast for the king's son, where the invited guests make light of the call and the doors are thrown open to everyone, yet one man comes without wedding clothing. The invitation is free, but it must be received on the king's terms. Then the Pharisees, the Herodians and the Sadducees each try to trap Jesus, and each time His answer leaves them silent: give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's, and God is the God of the living, not of the dead. When a lawyer asks which commandment is greatest, Jesus says to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind, and to love your neighbour as yourself. He ends by asking the question that matters most, what do you think of the Christ, and whose son is He? David calls Him Lord, because He is both David's son and David's Lord.

  • Matthew 21 | The King Comes Riding | Daily Bible Reading (WEB)
    2026/11/05

Daily Bible Reading: Matthew 21, read in full from the World English Bible (WEB).

Matthew 21 opens with the King of Zion coming to Jerusalem, humble and riding on a donkey, exactly as the prophet said. The crowds spread their cloaks and cry Hosanna to the son of David, and Jesus goes straight to the temple, drives out the buyers and sellers, and says that His house shall be called a house of prayer. The blind and the lame come to Him there and are healed, and the children go on praising Him while the chief priests grumble. The fig tree with only leaves warns us that a show of religion is not the fruit God wants, and Jesus tells His disciples that whatever they ask in prayer, believing, they will receive. Then He answers the question of His authority with parables: the son who said no and went, the son who said yes and did not, and the farmers who killed the vineyard owner's son. The stone the builders rejected has become the head of the corner, and it is the LORD's doing, marvellous in our eyes.

  • Preparing for Persecution: Keith Whiting (Full Documentary)
    2026/11/04

Persecution of Christians is not a distant story. Preparing for Persecution by Keith Whiting is read here in full as a feature documentary, and it asks what the church in the West should do now.

    A WORD ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Keith Whiting wrote Preparing for Persecution, and this film exists because he did. In his preface he explains why he began it: he saw severe persecution getting close, and saw that many believers in western nations were very unprepared for what was coming. So he wrote the book he wished someone had written for him.

The ten chapters and four appendices that follow are his work. The order they move in and the arguments they make are his, not ours. Thank you, Keith. Thank you for putting this down on paper, and for giving the body of Christ a way to get ready.

The book opens on the warning Jesus gave in Matthew 24:10, that many would fall away, and on the danger of being unprepared when persecution suddenly comes. From there it traces the pattern: the apostles, the Roman empire, the dark ages, the Reformation, and the world today. Open Doors keeps its World Watch List on the fifty countries where Christians face the most extreme persecution, and that list keeps growing. "Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution." (2 Timothy 3:12, WEB)

Then the preparation, chapter by chapter. Assurance of salvation. Counting the cost. Overcoming fear. Knowing the Bible. Prayer without ceasing. Fellowship. Focusing on eternity. Persevering to the end. Learning from the persecuted. Preparing physically.

The four appendices are the most practical part. Appendix One works through a passage in its context. Appendix Two sets out God's redemptive plan from Genesis to Revelation. Appendix Three gives an actual daily method for memorising Scripture, and Appendix Four lays out Revelation 1 in phrases you can learn by heart.

Read in full, for anyone who would rather be ready than surprised.

  • Trump Ends Israel Aid? Bible Prophecy News After the Midterms | Prophecy Watch Special Report
    2026/11/04

Trump Ends Israel Aid? Bible Prophecy News After the Midterms | Prophecy Watch Special Report.

After the US midterms and Israel's election: what the results could mean for Israel and the war with Iran, Trump's statement that US military aid to Israel ends after this year, US strikes on Qeshm Island, and cyber attacks on supermarkets across Europe. Then the beast system watch (Papua New Guinea's digital ID, EU age checks, UK facial recognition vans, the UK conversion practices bill), the persecuted Church (Jordan, India, Kaduna, Sudan, Cuba), a firm stand against replacement theology after the Assisi declaration, the Gospel in Sudan and Iran, the Matthew 24 Watch board, a Teaching Minute on the Antichrist, and a call to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6).

We believe the Church will see the man of sin revealed before Christ returns (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4; Matthew 24:29-31), and that God has not cast away Israel (Romans 11:1-2). We do not set dates (Matthew 24:36). Commentary is clearly labelled. Scripture: King James Version.

  • Matthew 20 | The Last Will Be First | Daily Bible Reading (WEB)
    2026/11/04

Daily Bible Reading: Matthew 20, read in full from the World English Bible (WEB).Matthew 20 opens with a landowner who hires workers at dawn, at nine, at noon, at three and at the eleventh hour, and then pays every one of them the same denarius. Those who worked all day grumble, but the master answers that he has done them no wrong, and that he is free to be generous with what is his. This is grace: God does not pay us what we have earned but gives what He chooses, and the last will be first. Then Jesus tells His disciples a third time that He will be handed over, mocked, scourged and crucified, and raised on the third day. When James and John ask for the seats of honour, He teaches that whoever wants to be great must be a servant, for the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. On the road out of Jericho two blind men cry out, Lord, have mercy on us, and He stops, touches their eyes, and they follow Him.Watch on YouTube: https://youtube.com/@thesonofman-daniel7More: https://linktr.ee/thesonofmandaniel7Scripture quotations are from the World English Bible (public domain). • Matthew 19 | With God All Things Are Possible | Daily Bible Reading (WEB)
    2026/11/03

Daily Bible Reading: Matthew 19, read in full from the World English Bible (WEB).

Matthew 19 finds Jesus on the road into Judea, where the Pharisees test Him on divorce and He takes them back to the beginning: God made them male and female, the two become one flesh, and what God has joined together man must not tear apart. Little children are brought to Him, and when the disciples rebuke them He says, allow the little children to come to me, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. A rich young man asks what good thing he must do to have eternal life, and when Jesus calls him to sell all and follow Him, he goes away sad, for he had great possessions. The disciples ask who then can be saved, and Jesus looks at them and answers that with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. Salvation is never something we earn; it is the gift of a God who can do what we never could, and whoever leaves all to follow Christ will receive a hundred times and inherit eternal life.

  • Matthew 18 | Seventy Times Seven | Daily Bible Reading (WEB)
    2026/11/02

Daily Bible Reading: Matthew 18, read in full from the World English Bible (WEB).

Matthew 18 opens with the disciples asking who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven, and Jesus answers by setting a little child in the middle of them: unless we turn and become as little children, we will not enter at all. He warns against causing one of these little ones to stumble, and tells of the shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to search for the one sheep that went astray, because the Son of Man came to save that which was lost. He shows how to win back a brother who sins, and promises that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there in the middle of them. Then Peter asks how often he must forgive, and Jesus says not seven times but seventy times seven, telling of a servant forgiven a debt he could never repay who would not forgive a fellow servant a small one. We who have been forgiven so much by the King are called to forgive our brother from the heart.

  • Matthew 17 | Listen to Him | Daily Bible Reading (WEB)
    2026/11/01

Daily Bible Reading: Matthew 17, read in full from the World English Bible (WEB).

Matthew 17 takes us up a high mountain with Peter, James and John, where Jesus is transfigured before them. His face shines like the sun, Moses and Elijah appear talking with Him, and a bright cloud overshadows them as the Father speaks: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him." The disciples fall on their faces in fear, but Jesus touches them and says, "Get up, and don't be afraid," and when they look up they see no one but Jesus alone. Coming down the mountain they meet a father whose son the disciples could not heal, and Jesus teaches that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. Again He tells them He will be delivered up, killed and raised on the third day. The Law and the Prophets point to Him, the Father commands us to hear Him, so lift up your eyes today and see Jesus alone.
