Daily Bible Reading: Matthew 20, read in full from the World English Bible (WEB).Matthew 20 opens with a landowner who hires workers at dawn, at nine, at noon, at three and at the eleventh hour, and then pays every one of them the same denarius. Those who worked all day grumble, but the master answers that he has done them no wrong, and that he is free to be generous with what is his. This is grace: God does not pay us what we have earned but gives what He chooses, and the last will be first. Then Jesus tells His disciples a third time that He will be handed over, mocked, scourged and crucified, and raised on the third day. When James and John ask for the seats of honour, He teaches that whoever wants to be great must be a servant, for the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. On the road out of Jericho two blind men cry out, Lord, have mercy on us, and He stops, touches their eyes, and they follow Him.Watch on YouTube: https://youtube.com/@thesonofman-daniel7More: https://linktr.ee/thesonofmandaniel7Scripture quotations are from the World English Bible (public domain).
