Hey, it's me. I'm gonna get on my soapbox for a second, and I'm still processing through this. So I'd love your perspective. And I'm sure how I talk about it is gonna come out all wrong. So we can go back and have more conversations, but I would love your perspective because I've been thinking a lot about patriarchy, and I've been thinking about how much we talk about it in relation to gender rather than systems and structures. We approach it as
As if men are benefiting from patriarchy and not also being harmed by it. And don't get me wrong, men and women are harmed very differently by patriarchy. But I don't know that anybody's winning, honestly, except for maybe some people at the top who are using fucked up systems to keep lining their pockets, but even then.
I mean, I don't know, I'm not them, but even that doesn't even seem like winning to me. That just seems like another desperate attempt to fill the void. I'm talking in circles, but I'd love to know what you think because, to me anyway, it seems like until we start talking about the cause and not just the symptoms, nothing is gonna change.
We're going to keep having this imbalance of, I don't know, power and I don't know. I think something needs to be different, and I think we have to start talking about it differently.
Let me know what you think.
Okay. Thanks for coming to my impromptu TED talk.
Love you lots.
