  • Come to the Table | Preparing Your Heart for Healing
    2026/05/02

    🎙️

You’re showing up… but something in you is tired.

In this deeply honest and spirit-led episode of Faith & Focus: A Moment for Your Mind, Coach Gigi invites you to take a real look at what it means to carry emotional weight in silence… and how to begin releasing it in a safe and sacred way.

This conversation explores the patterns many women don’t talk about openly—overgiving, emotional depletion, inconsistency in relationships, and the quiet ways we find ourselves chasing love instead of receiving it.

Through both Scripture and real-life reflection, Coach Gigi breaks down what it looks like to:

    • Recognize emotional starvation in relationships
    • Stop normalizing being drained and unseen
    • Set healthy, God-led boundaries
    • Shift from “Lord, fix them” to “Lord, lead me”
    • Trust God boldly… even when outcomes don’t match expectations

In this episode, Coach Gigi also shares a transparent moment from her own journey—how fear led her to set a small goal for The Healing Table, and the powerful lesson God revealed about planning small while expecting big.

Because healing is not about perfection.

    It’s about alignment.

And sometimes… it starts with simply coming to the table.

  • You Keep Breaking Your Own Heart | When Boundaries Become Your Healing
    2026/04/27

Got you. Here’s your full, polished description with the Stop Chasing Love thread woven in naturally, ready to copy and paste:

You say they hurt you… but what if you’re the one who keeps putting your heart back in the same place?

In this powerful and deeply reflective episode, Coach Gigi walks you through the emotional patterns that keep you stuck in cycles of overgiving, under-receiving, and self-abandonment. This is not about blame. This is about awareness, alignment, and healing.

And for many of us, if we’re honest… this is where the pattern begins. Not just being hurt by others… but continuing to return to what isn’t meeting us. Learning to recognize that pattern is a part of what it means to stop chasing love… and start choosing what’s healthy for us.

We explore what it really means to set boundaries without guilt, how your nervous system plays a role in your relationships, and why healing requires both spiritual surrender and practical action. You’ll also be guided through a grounding somatic exercise designed to help you reconnect with your body and respond from a place of peace instead of reaction.

This episode speaks to both sides of the pattern, the one who keeps overextending and the one who may not realize the impact of their responses. If you’ve ever felt unheard, unseen, or emotionally drained in relationships, this conversation will meet you right where you are.

Healing is not weakness. It’s obedience… even when it means choosing not to return to what keeps hurting you.

  • I Gave You My Heart… You Gave Me a Receipt | The Pain of Being Unheard
    2026/04/24

📝 You opened your heart. You tried to communicate. You made yourself vulnerable.

And instead of being met with care…

you were met with a receipt.

In this powerful and deeply relatable episode of Faith & Focus: A Moment for Your Mind, Coach Gigi unpacks the emotional weight of what it feels like to be unheard, dismissed, or responded to with defensiveness when all you needed was understanding.

Because there’s a difference between someone hearing your words…

    and actually holding your heart.

And maybe, without even realizing it, this is where we begin to learn what it looks like to stop chasing love… and start allowing it to meet us.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • What it means when someone gives you a “receipt” instead of a real response

    • Why people default to defensiveness and self-protection

    • How trauma and past experiences shape the way we communicate

    • The emotional impact of feeling unseen and dismissed

    • How to respond when your vulnerability is not received well

    • What it looks like to grow if you recognize yourself as the one giving “receipts”

This is not about blaming others.

This is about awareness, healing, and learning how to communicate with emotional maturity and care.

Because healthy relationships are not built on who is right…

They are built on who is willing to listen, understand, and respond with intention.

🎧 Listen now and learn how to recognize the difference between a response that heals… and one that harms.

    2026/04/20

You love God. You pray. You show up. So why are you still struggling?

In this powerful Season 5 premiere of Faith & Focus: A Moment for Your Mind, Coach Gigi opens up a real and necessary conversation about the intersection of faith and mental health. Many believers silently wrestle with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and unresolved pain while feeling like their faith should be enough to fix it.

But what if the struggle is not a lack of faith… but a lack of understanding, tools, and support?

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • Why your brain and nervous system don’t reset just because you prayed

    • How unprocessed trauma shows up in your daily life

    • What the Bible actually shows us about emotional struggles through Elijah’s story

    • The difference between praying for healing and participating in your healing

    • How rest, boundaries, and self-awareness are spiritual acts of obedience

This episode will challenge what you’ve been taught, remove shame, and give you practical, faith-centered tools to begin aligning your life with the peace you’ve been praying for.

Healing is not weakness. Healing is obedience.

  • A Love That Echoes: Honoring Susan Detro | Home for the Holidays Finale
    2026/04/07

    This episode is deeply personal.

Today, I honor a woman who was more than a friend… she was family. My “mother dearest.” A safe place. A covering. A love that changed me.

Susan Detro went home to be with the Lord on Resurrection Sunday, and in this special Home for the Holidays finale, I reflect on her life, her love, her faith, and the legacy she leaves behind.

From her gift of playing hymns on the piano… to her love for K-pop and storytelling… to the way she opened her home and heart without hesitation… Susan lived a life that reflected God’s love in action.

This episode is for anyone who has ever loved deeply… and is learning to carry that love forward through grief.

We also take a moment to pray for her husband, Steve, her children, grandchildren, our church family, and the community who is grieving this loss.

If someone is on your heart… don’t wait. Say the words. Give the love. Show up while you still can.

Because love like this doesn’t end… it echoes.

  • There Is No Healing Without Honesty
    2026/03/24

    Episode Title:

There Is No Healing Without Honesty

    Episode Subtitle or Short Tagline:

Speaking truth in love, refusing bitterness, and healing beyond brokenness

What happens when telling the truth about your life makes other people uncomfortable? In this powerful Episode 18 of Faith & Focus: A Moment for Your Mind, Coach Gigi opens up about a real conversation she had in Orlando that sparked a deeper reflection on healing, honesty, bitterness, marriage, intimacy, and the courage it takes to speak truth in love.

Rooted in Lamentations 3, this episode reminds us that God does not approve the crushing of people, that honesty is not the same as bitterness, and that healing cannot grow where truth is constantly being buried. Coach Gigi also shares why intimacy was never meant to be used as a weapon, how brokenness leaks into every part of a relationship, and why silence is not always the same thing as peace.

This episode is for the woman who has been trying to stay godly without going blind, trying to stay soft without being silenced, and trying to heal without pretending it did not hurt.

    Featured in this episode:

    Lamentations 3:24–26 and 33–38

The difference between honesty and bitterness

Why intimacy reflects the health of the whole relationship

How to tell the truth without becoming cruel

Why a quiet spirit is not the same thing as a silenced one

Reflections from Coach Gigi’s books Withholding Love: When Intimacy Becomes a Weapon and Now What? I Married a Narcissist: Finding Faith, Hope, and Healing Beyond Brokenness

This episode is sponsored by FOCUS: Faith & Mental Health, Inc., where mental health meets the ministry of hope.
