    I used to have a black-belt in beating myself up. Shame, frustration, you name it.

    Through my journey I learned that the careful application of self-compassion is one of the elements that can either accelerate (by its presence) or delay (by its absence) our journey of self-discovery (though I prefer self-remembrance)!
