    At 15 years old, Brad Evarts nearly died in a car crash that claimed two lives. That moment shaped everything — setting him on a path defined by resilience, faith, and second chances.


    From building iconic restaurants in California, to experiencing devastating setbacks, to moving to Texas with his wife Julie and creating Moose Farmz — Brad’s story is bold, raw, and deeply inspiring. Today, their handcrafted pozole, gazpacho, and fresh salsas are quickly becoming favorites at the Barton Creek Farmers Market and beyond.


    Beyond food and business, Brad trains with me weekly. At 60+, his discipline, energy, and childlike spirit are powerful reminders that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself.
