  • Stress Awareness Month, Red Light Therapy; and Purple Day 2026

    April is Stress Awareness Month and on the show we hear from Thorrun Govind who is a Pharmacist and former chair of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, with a special interest in public health and wellbeing about the significant toll that everyday anxiety is taking on people’s wellbeing and daily lives, with many of us feeling persistently overwhelmed.


    With Purple Day having just taken place we find out about the annual awareness day for Epilepsy with Elina Patel who is a film and television student at the London Screen Academy and was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of eight.


    Karen talks to Jon from Lighten up, a red therapy centre in Newquay and we hear again from Sarah who shared her story around ADHD and Autism last month and is back to tell us about her experience of Anxiety and Depression.
