あらすじ・解説

The number one international best seller!

A timeless business classic, Who Moved My Cheese? uses a simple parable to reveal profound truths about dealing with change so that you can enjoy less stress and more success in your work and in your life.

It would be all so easy if you had a map to the Maze.
If the same old routines worked.
If they'd just stop moving "The Cheese."
But things keep changing...

Most people are fearful of change, both personal and professional, because they don't have any control over how or when it happens to them. Since change happens either to the individual or by the individual, Dr. Spencer Johnson, the co-author of the multimillion best seller The One Minute Manager, uses a deceptively simple story to show that when it comes to living in a rapidly changing world, what matters most is your attitude.

Exploring a simple way to take the fear and anxiety out of managing the future, Who Moved My Cheese? can help you discover how to anticipate, acknowledge, and accept change in order to have a positive impact on your job, your relationships, and every aspect of your life.

Good book, but is it really that unique?

Been wanting to read this book for years. Now that it is finished, I'm a little let down. Embrace change! Yup... completely agree. Looking for more insight. Like I said, this is a good book. But if you have already accepted change as a part of life, this may not offer much substance past that notion.

A great story short story.. and some filler

How moved my cheese (the short story) is both charming and insightful. The story is about 20 minutes. The rest of audiobook is poorly written and executed.. truly ruins what could be a great audiobook.

Short story but powerful

the story can be summarised to 'It's better to wander in a maze searching for new cheese than settling for same old cheese that can run off before you realize it'

Love it

This was an amazing book. Such a fresh perspective and a very short and east read.

Over hyped

The build up to this story was way bigger than the story, which was pretty cheesy and had some pretty big holes in it. Maybe I'm not the type who resists change, or maybe I am, but not out of any dislike for change, but out of a belief that change, though inevitable, is not inherently prone to lead to "better cheese." Sometimes change IS actually for the worse, a reality that never darkens the door of this little parable. It's a fine little story, about three stars worth. Mercifully short. Don't waste your time listening to the "discussions" before or after the parable itself. They are artificial, lame, and a waste of time.

Heed this story

A short story from 20+ years ago that stood has relevance. Who doesn’t have at least a little apprehension when it comes to change? There’s always that ‘unknown’ lurking. Context is everything. I’ll read this again in another 10 years.
