Your Mindset, Your Power is the weekly dose of motivation, mindset shifts, and real talk you didn’t know you needed, until now.

Hosted by Mariela Longo, a certified Jay Shetty Mindset Coach, this podcast is here to remind you of one powerful truth:

Your mindset is your greatest strength.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in the past, overwhelmed by the present, or afraid of the future—you’re not alone. You are not weak.. And you’re not broken.

Each week, we’ll break through those self-sabotaging thoughts and limiting beliefs, and you’ll walk away with practical tools, mindset techniques, and a roadmap to help you start showing up for your life—even if you’re scared, even if you’re not ready, especially when you feel like giving up.

This isn’t just a podcast.

It’s your weekly reminder that:

  • You’re capable.
  • You’re powerful.
  • And you’re not in this alone.

Together, we’ll learn how to: Take small but consistent action

Rewire your thought patterns

Quiet that inner critic

Be kinder to yourself

Let go of what’s holding you back

And step fully into the life you were meant to live.

So if you’re ready to stop just surviving—and start rising—tune in every week.

I’ll be right here, walking this journey with you as your coach, your guide, your cheerleader and your friend.

Because when you take back your mindset, you take back your power.

Let’s do this—together.

  • Scarcity vs. Abundance: Which Mindset Is Running Your Life?
    2026/09/23

Ep 67- What if you have enough… but somehow, it never really feels like enough?

A scarcity mindset isn’t always about money. It can show up in the way we think about time, opportunities, relationships, our own abilities, and even how much we allow ourselves to enjoy what we already have.

In this episode of Your Mindset, Your Power, we’re exploring the difference between a scarcity mindset and an abundance mindset—and why focusing on what we lack can sometimes become such a powerful lens through which we experience our lives.

We’ll talk about the psychology of scarcity and the concept of “tunneling,” how gratitude can help widen our attention, why “not enough” can sometimes turn into “I’m not enough,” and the role generosity can play in living from a place of abundance.

Most importantly, this isn’t about pretending everything is perfect or ignoring real financial struggles, difficult circumstances, or things you genuinely need more of.

It’s about learning to recognize when lack has become the only thing you can see.

Because abundance isn’t believing you don’t need anything else.

It’s refusing to let what you don’t have erase what you do have.

If this episode makes you think of someone, share it with them. It may be a conversation they need too.

  • The Friends Who Become Family: What Real Friendship Looks Like
    2026/09/16

Ep 66- Some friends come into our lives and somehow become family.

They’re the people we can laugh with, disagree with, be completely ourselves around, and sometimes go months without talking to—yet when we reconnect, it feels like no time has passed.

But what actually makes a real friendship last?

In this episode of Your Mindset, Your Power, I’m exploring what genuine friendship really looks like—from emotional safety, trust, and acceptance to jealousy, comparison, boundaries, and those moments when a friendship simply doesn’t feel the same anymore.

I’m also sharing personal stories about the women I call my “sisters from different parents,” a lifelong friendship that has survived decades and distance, and some fascinating research about why strong social connections can matter to our health and well-being.

But this conversation isn’t only about the friends we choose. It’s also about turning the mirror toward ourselves and asking an important question:

Am I being the kind of friend I want to have?

A warm, honest conversation about real friendship, healthy relationships, meaningful connection, and the people who become part of the family we choose. 💜

  • Holding Joy and Grief Side by Side — A Life That Began on 9/11
    2026/09/08

Ep 65 - September 11, 2001, is a day the world will never forget.

For my family, it is also the day my son was born.

Twenty-five years later, I’m sharing a story I have carried very close to my heart — one about joy, heartbreak, memory, love, and what it means to hold two completely different truths at the same time.

In this deeply personal episode of Your Mindset, Your Power, I take you back to that day, to what was happening inside our hospital room while the world outside was changing, and to the emotions my husband and I were carrying in ways I only fully understood years later.

We’ll also talk about flashbulb memories, why certain moments stay so vivid in our minds, and how some days can hold more than one story.

And toward the end, I share a message directly with my son — something I’ve wanted him to know about the day he came into this world.

This episode is about honoring what happened without shrinking the joy that was also present.

    About remembering.

    About compassion.

And about allowing two truths to exist side by side.

Because sometimes adversity and joy don’t take turns.

    Sometimes they arrive together.
