  • A New Chapter for Pre-Registered Yoga Classes
    2026/02/17

In today's episode of Yoga Insider, I'm sharing a heartfelt reflection about the process of finding a new space to host my pre-registered yoga classes. What begins as a practical need for more room quickly becomes a deeper story about recognizing when we're operating from outdated narratives.

    I'm reflecting on:

    - building an independent yoga business through uncertainty

    - lessons on community-building

    - why alignment matters more than aesthetics

    - why this new chapter allows for greater generosity and improved access to yoga

If you’ve ever faced a change in your teaching or your business, this episode offers a grounded, honest perspective on trusting the next step.

Grab a cup of coffee and settle in.

  • Workshop Prep + BTS Reflections
    2026/02/10

In this week's episode of Yoga Insider, I'm reflecting on a Yin Yoga & Acupuncture workshop I taught this weekend and considering how teaching the same workshop many times provides valuable opportunity for refinement.

I'm also sharing some behind-the-scenes momentum I've been noticing lately: an influx of new inquiries and website traffic, likely tied to the compounding effects of podcast consistency. Things also get personal when I talk about how I'm learning to hold new levels of visibility in my work.

From there, I get into how I prepare for workshops energetically - not just in terms of logistics. I talk about how I take care of myself in the days leading up to hosting workshops and trainings, and how keeping the needs of your students in mind creates a whole new level of presence.

Finally, we talk about the reality of teaching: no matter how much you prepare, not every workshop goes as planned. From tech issues to external distractions, I share stories of when things have gone sideways, and what it takes to stay grounded when they do!

  • Part 2/4: Your Most Sustainable Year as a Yoga Teacher
    2026/01/13

Welcome back to Yoga Insider! We're starting off 2026 with a 4-part series inspired by sustainability. Every week in January, I'm sharing an episode that explores what it means to have a sustainable career as a yoga teacher. While I don't promise to have all the answers, I am committed to asking questions that encourage that thoughtful reflection. Together, we'll consider how to make a living doing work that you genuinely care about while prioritizing your personal wellbeing.

Part 2/4 of this series is all about acknowledging your capacity. I like to think of capacity as something fluid that ebbs and flows in seasons, and by working with it rather than against it, we can keep showing up as yoga teachers without burning out. Feel free to grab a pen and paper for this episode, and pause the show to journal or write down your reflections.
