  • 46. Nobody Is Thinking About You As Much As You Think They Are
    2026/07/17

    Send us Fan Mail

Today, I break down why feeling watched and judged is so common, even when nobody is actually paying that much attention. The spotlight effect and the illusion of transparency become tools you can use to show up for your workouts, your goals and your life with less overthinking.

    • Defining the spotlight effect and why it feels so real
    • The Barry Manilow T-shirt study and what it proves about attention
    • Egocentric bias and why our own experience feels “bigger”
    • The illusion of transparency and why nerves look calmer than they feel
    • How fear of judgment blocks gym habits and keeps people from starting
    • Why social media amplifies self-consciousness and comparison
    • Simple reframes that reduce anxiety fast, including “Will anyone remember this next week?”
    • Practicing being seen and acting through discomfort to build real confidence
    • Using values as the final decision filter when you worry about what people think
    • Who tends to judge most and why their opinions are not the ones to fear

  • 44. WELLNESS IS NOT A MORAL ACHIEVEMENT: Why Healthy Choices Are NOT Moral Choices
    2026/07/03

    Send us Fan Mail

Someone offers you a drink, you say no, and suddenly it’s “Oh, sorry you’re better than all of us.” That little joke carries a big assumption: that health choices equal moral superiority. Today, I’m pulling apart a belief that quietly fuels guilt, perfectionism and judgement in wellness culture. Caring about fitness, nutrition, sleep and mental health can be life-changing, but none of it should become a scorecard for who deserves respect.

If you want sustainable habits without shame, this conversation will give you language, frameworks and reflection questions you can use right away. Subscribe, share it with someone who needs a gentler approach to wellness and leave a review so more people can find the show.

  • 41. Separating Effort From Self-Worth In Fitness
    2026/05/22

    Send us Fan Mail

A missed workout shouldn’t feel like a personal failure, yet for so many of us it does. We’re not just trying to build muscle, lose fat, or get stronger we’re chasing what those results represent: confidence in photos, a sense of control, the relief of feeling “enough.” When that happens, fitness quietly turns into a scoreboard for your self-worth, and consistency starts to feel like a test you can pass or fail.

If you care about evidence-based wellness, mindset and long-term consistency, this one will give you a new way to think about self-trust and progress. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs it, and leave a review so more people can find the show.

  • 40. Who Are You When Life Doesn’t Look The Way You Planned?
    2026/05/15

    Send us Fan Mail

Nothing is falling apart, but you still feel off. That quiet, constant “something’s not right” can be harder to carry than a clear problem, especially when you’re injured and the routines that normally keep you steady get taken away. I open up about navigating a broken finger, a bruised rib, and a long stretch of uncertainty and why that combo can leave you feeling unsettled in your own life.

If any of this hits close to home, subscribe to the podcast, share it with a friend who’s in a hard season and leave a review so more people can find these conversations.

  • 39. Cycle Syncing: Helpful Or Overhyped?
    2026/05/08

    Send us Fan Mail

Cycle syncing is having a moment and I get why. It promises a roadmap for your workouts, your energy, your mood, your social life, even your calendar. When you’ve spent years being told to “just push through” or “be the same every day,” a menstrual cycle based plan can feel like the first time your body makes sense.

My bottom line is practical and empowering: track your cycle if it helps, notice your patterns and adjust day by day based on what you can actually do, not what an online template says you should do. If this gave you a clearer lens on cycle syncing, subscribe, share it with a friend and leave a review so more people can find evidence-based wellness that fits real life.
