  • S25E37 Is Your Shadow Stealing Your Power?
    2025/02/09

Is your shadow stealing your power? In this episode of Unbox The Podcast, Sahar Huneidi Palmer reveals how rejected parts of yourself silently control your story. Learn how the shadow plays out in emotions and beliefs and how facing it with kindness helps you reclaim your true power.

The shadow isn’t evil — it’s the parts of yourself you judged, rejected, or left in the dark. These hidden aspects show up in your body, emotions, and beliefs, making old stories feel real and convincing. Unless you face the shadow, you keep replaying the same loop and silently giving away your power.

In this episode, Sahar Huneidi Palmer shares how the shadow forms, why it feels so real, and what happens when you acknowledge it with kindness. Drawing on her personal story, client examples, and insights from her new book The Zen Oracle (co-authored with Khaled Bazzi), Sahar explains how awareness plus new action frees you from the shadow’s grip.

    You’ll discover:

    • How emotions enforce the old belief system.
    • Why pain tempts you to distract or self-diagnose instead of healing.
    • The simple shift that loosens the shadow immediately.
    • Why facing the light makes the shadow fall behind you.

    2025/08/19

  • S25E34 The Price of Love: What Death, Loss and Grief Teach Us About Living
    2025/08/12

To Kenyo, with love and gratitude. Loss changes us. In this heartfelt episode, Sahar Huneidi Palmer shares her personal journey through the deaths of loved ones and her beloved cat Kenyo, exploring grief, love, and the meaning we find in living each day fully.

Sahar shares the story of losing my father, brother, husband, mother, and most recently, her cat Kenyo. Through each loss, Sahar learnt that grief is not just about endings — it’s about love, connection, and the meaning we choose to give our days. We explore why the death of a pet can trigger old grief, how cultural expectations shape the way we mourn, and why letting go can be the most loving act of all. Sahar also shares a vision that shifted her perspective on death, teaching her that our role is to honour the journey of those we love, in life and in death.

Message form Sahar: There are over a thousand videos and free webinars on my YouTube channel, as well as free self-help tools, eBooks, and online courses. You can find them on my Online Growth page in my shop at saharhuneidi.com. And of course, Unbox The Podcast. I started podcasting in 2005 and have recently created playlists I’m proud of on Spotify. • S25E33 When Self-Growth Becomes a Trend: Are You Healing or Just Following the Crowd?
    2025/08/05

Healing is trending—but is it helping? In this episode, Sahar Huneidi Palmer explores why self-growth can become just another performance, and how to stop following trends and start rewriting your real story. Retreats, workshops, full moon circles. But what happens when your self-growth journey starts to feel like another identity to live up to?

In this episode of Unbox The Podcast, Sahar Huneidi Palmer asks: Are you healing—or just following the crowd? She unpacks the pressure created by the booming wellness industry, the rise of luxury holistic centres, and why herd-style spirituality can actually distract you from true transformation.

You’ll also hear a real client story: a woman who believed she was more spiritual than her husband because she attended regular retreats—until She was reminded that real growth expresses itself in many forms, not just the visible ones.

With her BEMA™ Methodology (Body, Emotions, Mind, Accountability), Sahar guides you back to a grounded, honest connection with your inner truth. If you’re tired of chasing healing, this episode is your permission to slow down, get real, and reclaim your power.

  • S25E32 When Helping Others Actually Holds Them Back
    2025/07/29

We don’t mean to get in the way—but often, our “help” holds others back. This week, Sahar explores how inherited family roles and loving intentions can block growth, erode self-esteem, and delay individuation. It’s time to update the story and let others grow.

Do you find yourself trying to protect or guide your younger loved ones—only to end up arguing, resented, or feeling helpless? I’m asking a hard question: are we supporting growth—or replaying old patterns we inherited?

As part of this year’s theme The Power of Your Story, we explore how family roles, cultural expectations, and loving intentions can unintentionally rob the younger generation of the chance to grow. Whether it’s our children, nieces, nephews, or students, many of us unconsciously play the rescuer, the fixer, or the “one who knows”—because that’s what we were taught love looks like. But when we impose our ways, what we’re really saying is: “You’re not capable.” And that erodes confidence before it can even grow.

I’ll share a real story about my niece—how I learned to snap out of the mentor-on-demand role, after she casually said “Write a book!” (And I did!). We’ll explore how BEMA™ helps us pause, reassess, and shift—especially when we’re emotionally invested. Because the more emotionally entangled we are, the harder it is to stay objective. And without objectivity, we react instead of respond.

    This episode will help you:

    • recognise the stories you’ve inherited around helping and control
    • stop mistaking love for interference
    • allow others to find their way—even if it’s different from yours
    • learn how flexibility is strength, not passivity

Generations evolve for a reason. We are not raising replicas. They are here for a different cycle. Supporting their growth means allowing their difference. It’s not about walking away. It’s about walking beside and to subtly guide. That’s how we evolve.

  • S25E31 Am I Growing or Just Stuck? How to Spot What’s Missing on Your Journey
    2025/07/22

Ever wonder if you’re actually growing or just stuck in a loop? In this episode of Unbox The Podcast, Sahar Huneidi Palmer explains how to spot the subtle signs of real growth and why mastering the art of noticing is the next step in your journey.

It’s one of the most common questions I hear from my listeners, clients, and even fellow healers. You start your journey, do the work, but then you hit a wall—or you feel like you’re going in circles. In this episode of Unbox The Podcast, I’m talking about the subtle signs of real growth. Growth isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes, it’s quiet. It’s in the small shifts you barely notice—unless you train yourself to catch them. If you’ve ever asked yourself,

    • "Have I actually made progress?”
    • "Why do I still get triggered sometimes?”
    • "What’s missing from my growth?”

    This episode is for you.

We’ll explore how to move from the apprentice phase—where you become aware of your patterns—into the practitioner phase, where you actually apply what you’ve learned in real time. That’s where transformation happens. Key topics in this episode:

    • Why your mind is the creator, and your life is the result
    • How to train your awareness to notice the small wins
    • The truth about consistency vs. perfection
    • Why growth feels uncomfortable when you’re evolving
    • What it really means to move into Mastery
