  • EP5 – The 10-Minute Reset for When You’re Hanging by a Thread
    2025/10/22

Some days you don’t need motivation.
You just need ten quiet minutes to stop yourself from losing it.

In this voice-note-style episode, I talk about the messy, real-life days where the juggle feels impossible...when you’ve reheated your drink three times, everyone’s shouting “Mum,” and you’re whispering to yourself, “I actually can’t do this.”

This is where the 10-Minute Mum Reset comes in - the small, doable moments that bring you back to yourself when there’s no space for self-care or time to “fix” anything.

You’ll hear simple, real resets for when life’s loud: walking to the end of the road, standing outside for a breath, or just closing a few mental tabs so your nervous system can catch up.

    Listen when:
You’re on the edge of overwhelm and need a reset that fits real life.

    Reset question:
What would my next ten minutes look like if I treated myself like someone worth caring for? (oooh I do love this Question!)

Because sometimes the most powerful reset isn’t a full restart, it’s a pause, a breath, and ten minutes that remind you you’re human.

  • EP4: Toothpaste and Tears - The Day I Cried While Brushing My Teeth
    2025/10/16

    It wasn’t a breakdown.
There was no shouting, no drama... just me, standing in the bathroom, brushing my teeth with the door locked, trying to keep it together.

The toothpaste, the tears, the silence were all part of a life that looked fine from the outside but felt impossibly heavy on the inside.

I had to keep going. I had kids who needed me to hold it together.
But in that moment, I realised something quietly life-changing: I couldn’t keep living like this.

In this voice-note-style episode, I talk about the moment I started listening to myself again, not out loud, not publicly, but quietly and secretly at first.

The beginning of what I now call My Reset Framework.

If you’ve ever stood in front of a mirror and felt like the person looking back had disappeared...this one’s for you.

    Listen when:
You’re exhausted from being “fine” and need a reminder that small, secret steps toward yourself still count.

    Reset question:
What would it look like to start listening to yourself again, even quietly?

This episode is a reminder that strength doesn’t always look loud.

Sometimes it looks like toothpaste, tears, and the decision to try again...in silence.

  • EP3: When Self-Love Feels Selfish
    2025/10/09

We all talk about self-love… but if we’re honest, sometimes it feels selfish.

In this episode, I talk about what happens when you’ve spent so long putting everyone else first that caring for yourself feels wrong. I share how guilt isn’t instinct, it’s conditioning...and why rest, boundaries, and saying “no” are actually acts of love, not neglect.

If you’ve ever struggled to slow down or felt bad for taking time for yourself, this one’s your gentle reminder that you can’t pour from an empty cup and you don’t need to apologise for filling it.

    Listen when:
You feel guilty for resting, saying no, or doing something purely for you.

    Reset questions for your journal:

    1. Where in your life do you confuse sacrifice with love?

    2. What would loving yourself actually look like this week — in real life, not Instagram-quote life?

So whether you’re driving, cooking, folding laundry, or hiding in the car for a few minutes of quiet, this is your moment to breathe and remind yourself:
You’re not selfish. You’re just remembering yourself again.

  • EP2: You’re Not Lazy ... You’re Overloaded
    2025/10/02

If you’ve ever stood in a messy kitchen or stared at a to-do list that never ends and thought, “Why can’t I just get it together?” this one’s for you.

    You’re not lazy.
    You’re overloaded.

In this voice-note-style chat, I talk about what happens when you carry too much...the invisible weight of everyone’s needs, the constant mental tabs that never close, and the guilt that makes you believe you’re the problem.

This episode is a reminder that exhaustion isn’t a personality flaw, it’s a signal. You don’t need more motivation; you need margin.

    Listen when:
You’re tired, snappy, or blaming yourself for being “lazy.”

    Reset question:
What’s one thing I can stop holding today, even if no one notices but me?

Grab your headphones, keep doing whatever you’re doing, folding laundry, driving, hiding in the car...and let this be your permission to slow down.

  • EP1: The Real Reset: When I Finally Stopped Pretending I Was Fine.
    2025/09/25

Welcome to Kitchen Conversations! The podcast that sounds like a late-night chat with a friend who gets it.

No fancy intros. No polished production. Just real, unfiltered conversations about life, identity, healing, and growth, straight from the kitchen table.

I’m Rebecca Hughes, mum of three, founder of Juggle and Grow, and creator of The Reset Method.

For years, I looked “fine” on the outside while quietly falling apart inside.

Now, I’m sharing what I learned about rebuilding yourself...not by fixing everything, but by remembering who you were before the world told you who to be.

Each episode is a mix of truth, humour, and a little chaos...from burnout and identity loss to self-love, motherhood, and the messy art of putting yourself back on your own list.

So grab your coffee (or your wine, no judgment), and join me at the kitchen table for honest stories, 10-minute resets, and conversations that remind you that...

    You’re not behind.
    You’re rebuilding.

    You've got this!

  • Intro: Welcome to Kitchen Conversations
    2025/09/18

This podcast isn’t fancy...No studio, no theme music, no production team…yet!!

Just me, Rebecca, recording wherever real life happens. Sometimes from the kitchen table, sometimes from the car when inspiration strikes.

Kitchen Conversations is voice-note-style: real talk, like messages from a friend who gets it. Each episode dives into the in-between moments of life...identity, motherhood, burnout, healing, and the messy process of rebuilding yourself while juggling everything else.

If you’re listening while doing the laundry, cleaning the kitchen, cooking dinner, or taking five quiet minutes to breathe, you’re in exactly the right place.

This isn’t about having it all together.
It’s about finding yourself again, right in the middle of it all.

Pull up a chair...you’ve got a seat at the table.
Welcome to Kitchen Conversations with Rebecca Hughes.
