  • Week 3 of the 8-Week Journey: Words Hurt | Communication & Emotional Safety
    2026/03/11

Tonight’s community conversation from The People’s Podcast continues our 8-week healing journey with Week 3.

Our focus tonight is something simple that carries deep impact: words hurt.

Many people grow up hearing that words should not affect them. Yet most people can remember a sentence, a comment, or a moment that stayed with them for years.

Words shape how people see themselves. Words influence how relationships grow. Words create either emotional safety or emotional harm.

During this gathering we explored how communication patterns develop, why hurtful words often stay with people long after they are spoken, and how becoming aware of the language we use can help create healthier relationships and stronger connections.

We also began introducing the next step in Week 3 of our journey. In our next discussion we will explore a deeper question that grows directly from tonight’s conversation: Do I feel safe? Understanding emotional safety helps people recognize the environments and relationships that support honesty, respect, and personal growth.

This is The People’s Podcast — we’re the ears that listen, where your opinion matters.

  • Understanding • Innerstanding • Overstanding | Do Words Shape Reality?
    2026/07/08

    Peace, Peace.

Language is one of the most powerful tools humanity has ever created. Every word carries a definition, a history, and a perspective. Yet as language evolves, meanings evolve with it.

Tonight we're exploring three words that continue to spark conversations around the world: understanding, innerstanding, and overstanding.

Where did these words come from? What do they actually mean? Who decides the meaning of a word? Is it history, the dictionary, culture, or the people who use it?

    More importantly...

Do words shape reality, or do we give words their meaning through our experiences, perspectives, and actions?

Join us as we explore the origins of these words and open a larger conversation about language, meaning, consciousness, and communication.

    What's your opinion?

  • Broken Windows of the Mind, Heart, and Soul | The People's Podcast
    2026/07/03

    Peace, Peace.

We are often told what's wrong with our lives through someone else's perception, yet we rarely stop to ask what kind of window they're looking through. Is it clear, or is it cracked by their own pain, fear, experiences, expectations, or unresolved wounds?

Every person views the world through a different window. Some windows have been cleaned through healing, self-awareness, and understanding. Others remain clouded by trauma, judgment, projection, limiting beliefs, or past disappointments.

That doesn't mean someone's perspective has no value. It means wisdom comes from discerning whether the feedback reflects your reality, their reality, or a mixture of both.

Not every opinion is truth. Sometimes people describe what they see through their own window rather than who you truly are.

Before accepting someone's judgment, ask yourself:

"Am I seeing myself through my own clear window, or am I borrowing someone else's broken glass?"

Discernment isn't rejecting feedback. It's learning to recognize the difference between truth, perception, and projection.

Join us as we explore how the broken windows of the mind, heart, and soul can shape the way we see ourselves, others, and the world around us.

    Let's have a goodwhats conversation.

    Peace, Peace...

What does it truly mean to be united?

Tonight on The People's Podcast, we're exploring a phrase that has echoed throughout history:

UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL.

In a world increasingly divided by politics, religion, race, beliefs, opinions, and personal perspectives, are we forgetting what connects us as human beings?

Can unity exist without everyone thinking the same?

Join us as we discuss the power of community, understanding, compassion, free will, and the choices we make every day that either build bridges or create separation.

If we can't show love, what are we doing here?

We're the ears that listen, where your opinion matters.

    Let's have a good conversation.
