Clawby is one of the strangest Glyphids I've ever encountered.

He's a living stuffed-animal squid who lives inside a claw machine—and yes, the claw machine is part of him. Wherever Clawby goes, his claw machine goes too.

At first, Clawby was extremely protective of his home. If something got too close, he'd grab the controls and use the claw to defend himself. He's surprisingly accurate with it, too.

But once he gets to know you, Clawby is incredibly friendly.

He loves collecting stuffed animals and other little objects, which he keeps inside his machine. He's also discovered that the claw is useful for much more than defending himself. He uses it to pick things up, retrieve objects, and occasionally steal someone's hat.

He's also surprisingly protective of his friends.

I originally thought Clawby was simply a Glyph hiding inside a claw machine.

Now I know better.

The machine isn't just his home.

It's part of who he is.

And if you ever hear a claw machine moving around on its own...

don't panic.

It's probably just Clawby coming to say hello.

Just keep an eye on your hat.

This time while searching for the infamous Arkudo deep within Reakmore Forest, we found two new friends Comet Blazar and Star Paradox.

At first they seemed mysterious, especially Star. Luna immediately distrusted her, noticing the strange way she fought and how advanced her Glyph technology was. Still, i offered the two homeless Glyph Catchers a place to stay at the Underground Sanctuary House.

But after returning home, Luna’s suspicions turned out to be right.

Star had been hiding the truth.

She wasn’t just an ordinary Glyph Catcher

she was a princess from the Pulsar Pocket.

Comet had known the entire time and helped keep her identity secret. At first it felt like betrayal, but they had a reason for hiding it. Star’s own royal family wanted her captured or worse.

Why?

Because Star had fallen in love with Comet.

To the royal court, loving a commoner brought dishonor upon the paradox bloodline. Some members of her family believed the only way to restore their family’s honor was to eliminate her completely.

Even knowing the danger, Comet refused to leave her side.

And after seeing the way they looked at each other, none of us could blame him.

Now Star and Comet live with us in the Underground Sanctuary, hiding from the assassins of the Pulsar Pocket while continuing our adventures as Glyph Catchers together.

About Episode — The Last Mirage

I thought Mirraloon was just another strange Glyph needing help when I found it deep inside the abandoned mirror quarry of Stormscar Delta. It was scared, unstable, and completely alone. After bringing it back to the sanctuary, I quickly realized something much darker had followed us home.

Mirrors throughout the sanctuary began showing things that were impossible. Reflections moved on their own, strange voices echoed through the halls, and terrifying creatures hidden within the Veil started appearing through shattered glass. That’s when we discovered Nullglass, a forbidden Mirror Predator hunting Mirraloon for reasons none of us understood.

Together with Luna, Zena, Aurabeak, Ignazura, and Meerno, I fought to protect Mirraloon while uncovering the hidden truth behind the ancient Mirage Glyph colony buried beneath the quarry. But the deeper we dug into the mystery, the more I realized Nullglass wasn’t truly evil at all.

It was broken.

Lost.

Alone.

Just like Mirraloon.

In the end, Mirraloon didn’t defeat Nullglass through strength or battle. It saved it through compassion, revealing the tragic history of the Mirage Glyphs and helping heal the Veil between reflections before it collapsed completely.

This episode was one of the most emotional journeys I’ve ever experienced as a Glyph Catcher. It reminded me that not every creature needs to be fought… sometimes they just need someone willing to understand them.

This episode ended up becoming one of the most chaotic days we’ve had in the underground sanctuary—and honestly that says a lot considering who lives here.

It all started when a wandering Glyph Catcher arrived at our docking bay carrying a wounded unconscious glyph none of us had ever seen before. Zena immediately stepped in to help since she’s basically the best glyph vet on Nibiru, and after stabilizing the little guy we learned something important…

He chose me.

The mysterious glyph eventually received the temporary name Impidra after my glyph detection gun completely malfunctioned trying to identify him. Apparently he’s some kind of unstable Rift/Fire type with energy strong enough to shut down entire machines just by existing.

Which explained why the sanctuary lights kept exploding.

After bonding with a special crimson glyphid marked with indigo symbols, Impidra finally stabilized enough to officially join the sanctuary. Honestly? He immediately acted like he owned the place.

But then Astra made one fatal mistake…

She cooked the new strain of fried Carnivora Bloom.

The second the smell hit the sanctuary every single glyph lost their minds. Aura Beak attacked the food tray, Meerno raided the kitchen, Ignazura tackled half the cafeteria, and Impidra nearly caused another power outage trying to steal food.

The sanctuary robots were NOT amused.

Kitchen privileges were revoked for an entire week which forced us to order HoverDash instead. Unfortunately the glyphs also treated the delivery drones like prey.

Somewhere in all the chaos, Impidra discovered children’s meals.

And honestly?

That tiny Rift glyph may be more dangerous with fried food than unstable energy.

About Episode — Frothar

The first time I saw Frothar after its evolution…

I honestly thought I was dreaming.

One second Fregalis was floating beside the sanctuary pond like always, happily chirping and splashing foam everywhere…

and the next?

The entire underground sanctuary was glowing with rainbow mist.

Now Frothar drifts through the halls of the pyramid sanctuary like some ancient spirit from the deep marshes of Nibiru. Its long ribbon-like tail trails behind it gracefully while tiny bubbles float around its body nonstop.

But despite looking elegant and mysterious…

Frothar is still unbelievably sweet.

It follows me everywhere.

Sometimes I’ll wake up in the middle of the night only to find it hovering near the ceiling watching over the room while everybody sleeps. Aura Beak pretends he isn’t scared of it, but every time Frothar suddenly appears from the fog he jumps three feet into the air.

Luna still laughs about that.

One of the strangest things about Frothar is its foam.

The bubbles it creates aren’t normal.

When they pop, people sometimes see memories.

Not illusions…

actual memories.

The first time it happened to me, one of the bubbles burst against my hand and suddenly I was reliving the moment I first arrived at Luan Academy. I could hear the engines of the rover docks, smell the metal rain in the mountain air, and even hear Professor Lang yelling because I nearly fell off the transport rails.

Professor Lang became obsessed with studying Frothar after that.

Apparently there are almost no records of one ever existing inside a human sanctuary.

Most ancient writings describe Frothar as guardians of hidden waters and forgotten ruins deep beneath Nibiru’s marshlands.

Which honestly explains why it acts so protective.

Whenever danger gets close to the sanctuary, Frothar immediately changes.

The soft smile disappears.

The bubbles stop floating.

And those giant spoon-like arms begin glowing crimson red.

I saw it happen when rogue scavengers tried sneaking into the lower greenhouse chambers looking for Blue Carnivora Bloom seeds.

Frothar floated silently into the hallway…

and the entire corridor filled with thick foam.

Nobody could move.

Nobody could even see.

The scavengers ran screaming after Frothar’s haunting Marsh Song echoed through the halls.

Afterward?

Frothar went right back to floating peacefully beside the pond like nothing happened.

That’s just who it is.

A peaceful guardian.

A living memory keeper.

And honestly?

Even after evolving into something ancient and powerful…

it still curls around me exactly the same way Fregalis used to.

People always ask me what the strangest rescue mission I’ve ever been on was.

And honestly?

It was the day we found Fregalis.

The whole thing started because our Carnivora Bloom crops were failing.

Not struggling.

Failing.

Entire rows of Crimson Hearts inside the sanctuary greenhouse had started turning black around the roots. The meat pods were shrinking, the vines were becoming brittle, and even the nutrient lamps Astra designed weren’t helping anymore.

Which was bad.

Really bad.

Carnivora Bloom wasn’t just food for us. A lot of our Glyphs depended on it too, especially the larger ones. Without healthy Bloom harvests, the sanctuary would eventually run out of supplies.

Astra had been stressed for weeks.

“There has to be another strain somewhere,” she muttered while flipping through old botanical records one night.

That’s when Zena found it.

A mention of a rare Blue Carnivora Bloom strain hidden deep within the flooded marshlands beyond the Scarlet forrest. According to the records, the blue strain produced healthier Crimson Hearts and could survive almost any disease.

Naturally…

We went searching for it immediately.

Me, Luna, Zena, Aurabeak, and Astra loaded up the rover before sunrise. The farther we traveled into the marshlands, the stranger the world became. Thick fog covered the water while twisted Blood Bark roots stretched across the swamp like giant skeletal fingers.

Even Aurabeak stayed unusually quiet.

“I hate this place,” Luna whispered.

About Episode: Balloonix

Today’s episode is about one of the rarest Glyphs me and the others have ever seen on Nibiru.

Balloonix.

A Fairy/Wind type Glyph that most people believed had already gone extinct years ago.

And honestly?

After finally seeing one in person during our vacation at Prismara Fields…

I understand why the entire planet protects them.

Balloonix is a peaceful floating Glyph that spends most of its life high above the cloud layers of Nibiru. It drifts through the skies using strange gas filled balloons attached to its body that naturally grow over time. Scientists still don’t fully understand how the balloons form, but Professor Lang believes they may actually be living energy sacs connected directly to Balloonix’s emotions.

Which honestly sounds terrifyingly smart.

The older a Balloonix becomes, the more balloons it grows.

Ancient Balloonix are said to have enough balloons to blot out entire sections of the sky during migration seasons.

The Balloonix we saw was smaller than the ancient records described, meaning it was probably still fairly young.

Which is honestly sad considering they can supposedly live for hundreds of years.

Balloonix are extremely gentle Glyphs and avoid conflict whenever possible. Instead of attacking predators directly, they release glowing spores into the air that create feelings of calmness and peace in nearby creatures.

Some historians believe ancient civilizations treated Balloonix almost like sacred spirits.

There are even stories claiming wars temporarily stopped after groups of Balloonix drifted over battlefields.

Which sounds impossible.

But after seeing one myself?

I’m honestly not sure anymore.

The reason Balloonix nearly went extinct is because people once hunted them for their balloons. The balloons contain rare floating gases used in old airships and luxury resort technology.

Thankfully those practices were banned long ago.

Now Balloonix are protected worldwide across Nibiru and catching one is completely illegal.

And honestly?

Good.

Not every rare Glyph should belong to somebody.

Some deserve to stay free.

One of the strangest things about Balloonix is their ability to appear during emotionally peaceful moments. Sightings increase during festivals, celebrations, reunions, and peaceful gatherings.

Some researchers even believe Balloonix can sense emotional harmony.

Luna says that sounds fake.

Astra says it sounds romantic.

Aurabeak tried eating one of Astra’s souvenir balloons during the argument.

As for abilities, Balloonix are not considered physically strong fighters, but they possess incredibly rare support powers.

Known abilities include:

Sky Drift Allows Balloonix to float silently through high atmosphere winds without tiring.

Harmony Dust Releases calming particles that reduce aggression in nearby creatures.

Festival Glow Causes nearby lights and floating objects to illuminate brighter during nighttime.

Cloudveil Creates thick glowing fog capable of hiding entire groups from danger.

And according to ancient records…

some Balloonix may possess an unreleased ability called Starpull.

Nobody actually knows what Starpull does.

Which naturally means Astra now wants to find out immediately.

Personally?

I think seeing Balloonix during vacation was enough.

For once there was no battle.

No danger.

No chaos threatening the planet.

Just a peaceful moment beneath the stars with friends…

and someone special.

Honestly?

That’s probably the real reason I’ll never forget Balloonix.

Today’s episode of The Monster Catchers Journal is about one of the strangest Glyphs I have ever encountered…

Gatoroon.

At first glance Gatoroon looks adorable, but trust me, this little Riftborn is far more powerful than he looks. Gatoroon has the head of a small alligator with sharp glowing blue eyes and huge bunny-like ears that can sense dimensional energy from miles away. His body is soft and fox-like with golden fur, and he has a massive fluffy squirrel tail that helps him balance while jumping between cliffs and crystal trees.

But what makes Gatoroon truly special is the fact that he’s a Riftborn Glyph.

Riftborns are extremely ancient creatures connected to dimensional fractures hidden deep beneath Nibiru. Most people thought they were just myths buried in old academy records. Even Orion and Team Constellation were hunting Gatoroon because of the power he carries inside him.

Gatoroon is naturally curious and playful, but when frightened his ears release unstable Rift energy capable of opening small dimensional cracks. Luckily he’s still young, so the fractures usually close quickly on their own.

One funny thing I learned very quickly is that Gatoroon LOVES shiny objects. The second we got back to the sanctuary he stole three forks, Luna’s scanner, and one of Aurabeak’s favorite gemstones and hid them all under my bed using his fluffy tail.

Aurabeak still hasn’t forgiven him.

Despite being a Riftborn, Gatoroon is actually incredibly affectionate. He likes riding on my shoulders, wrapping his squirrel tail around my neck, and sleeping beside Aurabeak near the sanctuary fireplace.

As for his abilities, Gatoroon can use:

• Rift Pulse
• Tail Bounce
• Sonic Growl
• Shadow Hop
• Dimensional Chirp

And his strongest move so far…

Rift Crack.

A move that briefly tears open reality itself.

Honestly?

That’s slightly terrifying.

But even with all that power, Gatoroon is still just a baby trying to understand a world completely different from his own. His mother trusted me enough to leave him behind on Nibiru…

And I don’t plan on letting that trust go to waste.
