EpisodeWhy This Work Matters To Me
Before I was a fertility coach and doula, I was a midwife.
I spent years supporting women through pregnancy, birth, loss and some of the most significant moments of their lives.
I understood the clinical side of fertility and reproductive health.
But what I didn't yet understand was what it felt like to live it.
In this episode, I'm sharing more of my own story and why supporting women through fertility struggles, pregnancy loss and reproductive trauma has become so deeply important to me.
We'll explore:
• The difference between understanding infertility professionally and experiencing it personally
• The emotional realities of infertility, miscarriage, IVF and pregnancy loss
• Why medical support matters, but isn't always enough on its own
• The gap that so many women and their partners fall into when the emotional impact of fertility struggles goes unseen
This episode is a reminder that you are more than a diagnosis, more than a treatment plan, and more than the outcome of your journey.
You are a whole person.
And you deserve support that honours all of you.
If you've ever felt like the emotional side of your experience wasn't fully understood or supported, I hope this conversation helps you feel a little more seen.
