  • You’re Not Lazy. Your Body is Protecting You.
    2026/03/03

What actually happens in your body when you decide to raise your “frequency”… and then everything seems to wobble?

In this episode, we explore the nervous system reality behind personal shifts, why your body can feel unsettled when you start making new decisions, choosing differently, or stepping into a higher way of living.

This isn’t about being lazy or unmotivated. Your body is simply trying to keep you safe.

    Inside this conversation, we explore:

✨ Why change can activate your nervous system

✨ The link between safety, self trust and consistency

✨ What your body might be doing when you try to move forward

✨ How to work with your system instead of against it

If you’ve ever felt pulled forward… but your body didn’t quite follow, this one is for you.

  • What Birth Trauma Actually Looks Like After C-Section
    2026/02/10

This Is What Trauma Actually Looks Like After a C-Section

When people hear the word trauma, they often imagine extremes.
    Flashbacks. Chaos. Falling apart.

But birth trauma doesn’t usually look like that.

    More often, it looks quiet.
It hides inside functioning, coping, and “being fine.”

In this episode, we explore what trauma actually looks like after a C-section, especially when you don’t feel like you’re “struggling enough” to call it trauma.

Because trauma is not what happened.
    It’s how your body responded.

This is why two people can go through the same event and come out of it completely differently.
Not because one is stronger but because their nervous systems responded differently.

Many women don’t realise they’re carrying trauma because:
•They’re grateful their baby is safe
    •They’re coping on the surface
•They don’t look how they imagine “falling apart” should look

In this episode, we gently explore some of the subtle signs of birth trauma, including:
•Feeling emotionally flat, disconnected, or numb
•Always feeling “on edge” but unable to fully rest
•Irritability or anger that feels out of character
•Struggling to relax even when life is calm
•Feeling detached from your body or your scar
•A sense that life moved on… but something inside you didn’t

If any of this resonates, it does not mean something is wrong with you.

It means your nervous system adapted brilliantly.

Trauma is the body doing its job, sometimes too well, for too long.

This isn’t something you can think your way out of.
Insight helps, but healing and completion happen through the body.

Healing isn’t about digging or reliving.
It’s about safety, pace, and permission.

As you listen, I invite you to reflect:
What part of your birth experience is asking to be acknowledged?

And if you ever feel ready to be held through this more deeply,
The C-Section Healing Space is there for you, a body-led, trauma-aware school for women healing after C-section birth.

  • Why So Many C-Section Mums Feel ‘Off’. Even Years Later
    2026/01/27

This episode is for the women who say…

“I don’t know how to explain it, I just feel off.”

    Maybe it’s been months.

    Maybe it’s been years.

    Maybe it’s been decades.

Life might look “fine” on the outside…

but something inside you still doesn’t feel finished.

And I want you to know this first:

    Nothing is wrong with you.

So often, we’re told that time heals everything.

But the body doesn’t heal on a timeline the mind agrees with.

Because medical healing is not the same as nervous system completion.

You can move on… and still carry something unfinished.

✨ Your body doesn’t speak in dates, it speaks in sensations.

In this episode, we explore what “off” can really mean after a C-section, including:

    • feeling disconnected from yourself

    • numbness or emotional flatness

    • anxiety or hyper-alertness

    • low trust in your body

    • feeling like you never fully came back

For many women, it isn’t trauma in the way people expect.

    It’s often quiet. Functional. Invisible.

And one of the biggest reasons this happens is because the birth cycle didn’t get to complete.

Your body prepared for one ending… and experienced another.

    That energy doesn’t disappear.

    It waits.

Completion isn’t about reliving the birth, it’s about letting the body finish what it started.

So many C-section mums didn’t get space to heal.

    They adapted instead.

You had to care for a baby.

    Be grateful.

    Be strong.

    Carry on.

    Adaptation kept you going.

    But healing asks something different:

    safety, slowness, and permission.

If this resonated, I want to leave you with this:

You’re not late, you’re right on time.

  • Your C-Section May Be Over, But Your Body Isn’t
    2026/01/20

Your C-Section May Be Over, But Your Body Isn’t

    The surgery is done.

    The scar has healed.

    Everyone else has moved on.

So why does your body still feel tense, disconnected, emotional or not quite finished?

This episode is not about pathology or what’s “wrong.”

It’s about timing, completion, and the intelligence of the body.

The medical system marks birth as complete when the baby is born.

But the body marks birth as complete when effort finishes, threat resolves, and the nervous system returns to safety.

A C-section can interrupt that biological sequence.

As I share in this episode:

Your body doesn’t run on dates or discharge papers. It runs on experience.

    In this conversation, we explore:

•Why you might still feel on edge months or years after a C-section

•Numbness around the scar or lower belly

•Emotional shutdown or sudden emotional waves

    •Difficulty resting even when exhausted

•Feeling disconnected from yourself or your body

•The quiet belief that you “should be over this by now”

    Your body isn’t broken.

It’s waiting for completion, not explanation.

    Healing doesn’t mean reliving trauma.

It means safety, orientation, reconnection, and gentle nervous system settling, at a pace your body can trust.

    Nothing has gone wrong.

    Your timing makes sense.

    Your body is not behind.

If you’d like to go deeper, the C-Section Confidence & Recovery Program is linked below, a body-led, somatic space to support emotional and nervous system healing after C-section.

  • Why You Don’t Feel Like Yourself After a C-Section
    2026/01/13

Why You Don’t Feel Like Yourself After a C-Section

(And Why Nothing Is ‘Wrong’ With You)

If you’re here, something in your body brought you.

    This isn’t fast content.

It isn’t about fixes, pressure or taking notes.

You don’t need to agree with everything I say.

As we begin, you’re invited to simply notice where my words land in your body.

I created this space because so many women are told to “get on with it” after a C-section. Physical recovery is talked about.

Emotional and nervous system recovery often isn’t.

This episode isn’t about blame, not of staff, not of yourself, not of your body.

    It’s about understanding.

    In this conversation, we explore:

•Why so many women feel numb, foggy, anxious or disconnected after a C-section

•Why functioning doesn’t always mean feeling well

•How even planned C-sections can create shock in the body

•Why these experiences are common and protective, not personal failures

•How the nervous system responds to sudden or overwhelming birth experiences

Many women who don’t feel like themselves after a C-section assume something is wrong with them.

    Often, nothing is.

What you’re experiencing is frequently a nervous system response to an interrupted or intense birth, not weakness, not failure.

    Your body did nothing wrong.

These responses make sense given what you went through.

    Healing isn’t about “moving on.”

It’s about safety, completion and coming back into the body, slowly and gently.

Some women only need understanding today.

Others may feel ready to explore this more deeply.

If you’d like to go further, you’ll find ways to work with me linked below, including the C-Section Confidence & Recovery Program, a body-led, somatic space to support emotional and nervous system healing after C-section.
