  • Ep. 1 Welcome to The Bridge to Tomorrow’s Talent
    2025/11/11

    Show Notes:

In the premiere episode of The Bridge to Tomorrow’s Talent, hosts Dale Marsden, Founder and Chief Visionary of Tomorrow’s Talent, and Zachary Hill, Chief of Staff, explore how today’s most forward-thinking employers are building powerful early-talent pipelines while transforming their communities in the process.

Dale and Zach share the mission behind Tomorrow’s Talent and explain how partnerships between educators and businesses are closing the skills gap, solving hiring challenges, and creating measurable ROI through internships, apprenticeships, and work-based learning.

They dive into the story behind Tomorrow’s Talent, a movement born from decades of leadership in public education and a deep commitment to connecting classroom learning with real-world skills. Dale recounts how he helped transform one of California’s largest school districts, creating more than 55 career pathways that now supply local companies with skilled, motivated young professionals. From construction to healthcare to IT, these collaborations prove that strategic internship programs are not only good for students but also a smart business strategy.

The conversation also highlights how Tomorrow’s Talent partners with employers, educators, and workforce boards to create scalable, hands-on programs that give students early exposure to the world of work. Through real success stories like Isaiah, who went from high school IT intern to full-time network engineer, and Valerie, who broke barriers in the auto collision industry, listeners see how early work experience transforms potential into performance.

If you are a CEO, HR leader, or hiring manager looking for practical ways to strengthen your workforce pipeline, this episode shows how strategic internship programs deliver measurable business value while creating lasting community impact. Learn how companies across industries are turning internships into a powerful growth strategy rather than just a goodwill gesture.

“When employers open their doors to students, they’re not just giving them experience, they’re gaining future-ready talent that’s already aligned with their company culture and skills needs.” – Dale Marsden
