Show Notes:
In this foundational episode of The Bridge to Tomorrow’s Talent, host Dale Marsden sits down with John Mura, a visionary leader in workforce development and one of the earliest supporters of Tomorrow’s Talent.
Together, they reflect on how Tomorrow’s Talent began with a simple but powerful mission: to change the narrative for the emerging workforce. Rather than waiting for opportunities to appear, this initiative helps create them, connecting students with meaningful internships, mentorships, and hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for real-world success.
John shares how his organization in the water industry became one of the first to welcome Tomorrow’s Talent interns, offering young people the chance to gain valuable experience while contributing to vital community work. His insights underscore the importance of soft skills, adaptability, and industry collaboration in shaping a generation ready to lead.
This episode sets the tone for the series, highlighting the collective effort between educators, employers, and community leaders to build a stronger, more connected talent pipeline, one that truly bridges the gap between education and meaningful careers.
