Today I have an ambient experience with a difference. I was lucky enough to attend a community concert that was held in a local library so the quality of the sound may not be on a professional level, but… imagine yourself in the room and immerse yourself in the joy these songs are giving to those listening.

The first two songs are sung by Mini Byrne with piano accompaniment by Angela Reynolds, the musical director for the community singing group, the Songbirds. The Songbirds is an all-female group made up of members around Ballymahon, County Longford and has been established since 2023. Tommy Reynolds also adds his wonderful voice for this special occasion for a few toe-tappers.

Spend 20 minutes chilling out with Billy the goat accompanied by a background of birds singing.
