  • Why Satan Lives on Earth Right Now
    2026/10/15
Discover what the Bible teaches about Satan, spiritual warfare, your authority in Christ, and the battle between two kingdoms. This sermon launches a teaching series on the spiritual battle between two kingdoms and explains why every person is caught in the middle. Scripture reveals that Satan and his demons operate on Earth, making the battle over your life and allegiance a very real spiritual conflict.Revelation 12:9 describes Satan being hurled to Earth, while Isaiah 14:12 speaks of being cast down to Earth. The message challenges the common belief that Satan is currently locked away in Hell and emphasizes the importance of understanding Scripture for yourself rather than relying on tradition or popular teaching. The enemy seeks opportunities to influence your thoughts, tempt you, and establish strongholds in your mind. As 2 Corinthians 10:5 teaches, believers are called to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. Ephesians 4:27 warns us not to give the devil a foothold.Yet not every temptation comes directly from Satan. James 1:14 explains that people can be drawn away by their own desires. That is why Jesus instructed His disciples to “watch and pray” in Matthew 26:41. Spiritual vigilance requires prayer, renewed thinking, and remaining connected to God.Romans 8:31 reminds us that if God is for us, no one can ultimately stand against us. Acts 19:13–16 also demonstrates the importance of knowing our identity and authority in Christ rather than simply using His name without genuine relationship.Ephesians 6:12 makes clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil. This is a call to live intentionally, resist the enemy, pursue God’s kingdom, and understand that everything we do for Christ advances His Kingdom. The question is not whether you are involved in the battle, but which kingdom you will serve.Referenced Verses:Revelation 12:9Isaiah 14:122 Corinthians 10:5Ephesians 4:271 Peter 5:72 Corinthians 11:3James 1:14Matthew 26:41Romans 8:31Acts 19:13–16Ephesians 6:122 Timothy 2:42 Timothy 2:6Matthew 6:33-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. • The Truth About the Plank in Your Eye
    2026/10/08
Discover what the Bible teaches about removing the plank from your own eye before judging, correcting, or attempting to help others.

This sermon examines Jesus’ teaching about the plank and the speck in Matthew 7:3–5. Rather than concentrating on the faults of others, believers are called to examine their own lives, character, and relationship with God before attempting to correct someone else.

Romans 2:1 warns that judging others can bring judgment upon ourselves. The message encourages Christians to focus first on becoming more like Christ, allowing Scripture and the Holy Spirit to expose areas that need growth and transformation.

Luke 6:41–42 reinforces this principle: remove your own plank first, then you can see clearly enough to help your brother. Genuine correction should come from someone who is seeking righteousness and willing to live out what they teach.

James teaches that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective, emphasizing the importance of being spiritually prepared when helping others. Galatians 6:1 likewise calls believers to restore those caught in sin gently while remaining watchful over themselves.

The goal is not selfish self-improvement, but becoming equipped to serve and disciple others. Proverbs 26:12 warns against being wise in our own eyes, while 1 Corinthians 11:31 calls us to examine ourselves carefully. Remove the plank, walk in humility, and allow God to use you to help others.

  • What Does It Mean to Be Alive in Christ?
    2026/10/01
Discover what it means to be alive in Christ through salvation, spiritual transformation, faith, authority, and the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.

Christ died for us while we were still sinners, demonstrating God's great love as explained in Romans 5:8. Through Jesus, the perfect sacrifice, believers move from death to life. 1 John 2:2 reminds us that Christ's atoning sacrifice was not only for our sins but for the whole world.

Being alive in Christ means no longer living for ourselves. 2 Corinthians 5:14–15 teaches that because Christ died for all, those who live should live for Him. Our soul, spirit, and body should be brought into alignment as we crucify the flesh and renew our minds.

The believer's identity is also transformed. John 3:16 points to eternal life through faith, while Luke 10:20 reminds us to rejoice that our names are written in heaven. Romans 6:8 and Galatians 2:20 emphasize that we died with Christ and now live by faith because Christ lives in us.

Ephesians 2:4–5 declares that God makes us alive with Christ by grace. This new life is not merely preparation for heaven; it is a calling to live for Christ here and now, walking in faith, boldness, and spiritual authority.

Finally, 2 Corinthians 5:17 calls believers a new creation, while 2 Corinthians 13:5 challenges us to examine whether Christ is truly in us. Be alive in Christ, renew your mind, walk in faith, and let His life flow through you.

  • God And Government: Who Do You Follow?
    2026/09/24
Discover what the Bible teaches about God, government, authority, obedience, discernment, and following God when earthly authority conflicts with His Word.

This sermon examines the biblical relationship between God and government, beginning with Romans 13:1 and the command to submit to governing authorities. Authority ultimately comes from God, but leaders can misuse that authority or turn away from His ways.

The message emphasizes the importance of trusting God's plan while exercising spiritual discernment. As 1 Timothy 4:1 warns, deceiving spirits can lead people away from the faith. Believers must renew their minds, crucify the flesh, and allow the Holy Spirit to help distinguish what is of God.

Scripture also shows the consequences of wicked leadership. Proverbs 28:12 describes the fear that comes when the wicked rise to power, while Proverbs 29:2 says that people rejoice when the righteous thrive. Christians should therefore recognize godly leadership and support what aligns with biblical principles.

Romans 13:2 teaches that rebellion against established authority brings judgment. The sermon explains that when an authority becomes ungodly, believers should not create discord but address concerns appropriately, pray, and, when necessary, leave.

Finally, 1 Peter 2:13–14, Titus 3:1, Hebrews 13:7, and Acts 5:29 establish the balance: submit to authority, obey God above human commands, and represent Christ faithfully wherever God has placed you.

  • Hearing God: Why It's Harder Than You Think
    2026/09/17

Hearing God is not a one-time experience but an ongoing relationship of listening, obeying, and remaining connected to Him. This sermon explains why believers must stay open to God's continued guidance rather than assuming they have already heard everything He wants to say.

Scripture shows that God speaks in many ways, including through His Word, prayer, the Holy Spirit, teaching, and prophetic encouragement. Revelation 3:22 calls those with ears to hear what the Spirit says, while Job 33:14 reminds us that God speaks even when people do not perceive it.

The message also examines how believers can recognize God's voice. Jesus describes His followers as sheep who know the Shepherd's voice in John 10:3–5. Developing this discernment requires time in Scripture, prayer, quiet reflection, and a willingness to listen.

The sermon encourages believers to seek spiritual discernment while remaining cautious about false prophecy and voices that do not agree with God's Word. Jeremiah 33:3 reminds us to call upon God and expect Him to answer.

Ultimately, hearing God requires faith, patience, and consistent communion with Him. Isaiah 55:3 urges us to listen so that we may live, while Psalms 85:8 points to the peace found in hearing what the Lord says.

  • The Real Reason Believers Are Targeted
    2026/09/10
Learn why believers are targeted by the enemy and how abiding in Christ gives victory through faith and spiritual authority. Why are believers targeted by the enemy? This sermon explains that following Christ is far more than simply praying a prayer of salvation. True discipleship means growing in God's Word, understanding your identity in Christ, and faithfully living out the Great Commission. As believers mature spiritually, they become a greater threat to the kingdom of darkness.Drawing from John 10:10, Hebrews 4:12, and the parable of the sower, this message reveals how Satan seeks to steal God's Word before it takes root. Christians are encouraged to cultivate fertile hearts, pursue wisdom and understanding, and allow Scripture to become deeply rooted so their faith remains steadfast through every trial.Romans 8:9 reminds believers that the Holy Spirit lives within them, giving them the authority, discernment, and power to overcome sin and walk in victory. Rather than remaining spiritually immature, Christians are called to know who they are in Christ and exercise the authority God has given them. The sermon also explores the armor of God, emphasizing that the shield of faith must be continually saturated with the living water of God's Word. As believers abide in Christ, resist the devil, and remain under God's protection, every attack becomes an opportunity to stand firm instead of falling.Ultimately, abiding in Christ is the key to overcoming every spiritual attack. As we remain close to God, trust His promises, and faithfully resist the enemy, Satan flees, our faith grows stronger, and we boldly advance God's Kingdom.Referenced Verses:John 10:10Hebrews 4:12Proverbs 4:7Matthew 13:3-23 (Parable of the Sower)Romans 10:9Romans 8:9Genesis 3:51 Peter 5:8Ephesians 6:13-17Luke 10:19John 15:4James 4:72 Chronicles 15:2Jeremiah 29:13James 4:8Psalm 91-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. • Why Many Christians Are Wrong About 'I' vs 'We'
    2026/09/03
Discover the biblical difference between living for "I" versus "we" and embracing the selfless mindset of Christ every day. What does it truly mean to be a Christian? This sermon challenges believers to move beyond simply hearing God's Word and become faithful doers who reflect the character of Jesus. Rather than adopting the self-centered mindset promoted by the world, Christians are called to live with humility, placing God's will and the needs of others above personal ambition.Drawing from Philippians 2:3 and the book of James, this teaching explains how selfish ambition produces disorder while genuine faith transforms the heart. As our minds are renewed through God's Word, we begin to see life through the perspective of Christ, serving others with love instead of seeking our own advantage. The message also contrasts the fear of man with the fear of God, encouraging believers to reject scarcity, trust God's provision, and speak words of life. By choosing faith over fear and generosity over selfishness, Christians become faithful stewards who demonstrate God's goodness in practical ways.Scripture further reveals that hatred, selfishness, and the works of the flesh reflect the enemy's influence, while love reveals God's nature. Because God is love, every thought, word, and action should point others to Christ and display His compassion through our daily lives.Ultimately, believers are called to replace an "I" mentality with a "we" mentality. As we do everything in love, we fulfill Christ's example, strengthen the body of believers, and become living witnesses who bring the Kingdom of God into the world.Referenced Verses:James 1:22-24John 14:12Romans 12:2Philippians 2:3James 3:16Proverbs 29:25Galatians 5:19-212 Corinthians 10:5Proverbs 18:21John 14:6John 1:1John 1:141 John 3:151 John 3:81 John 2:91 John 4:81 John 4:16Proverbs 10:121 Corinthians 16:14-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. • The Truth About What You Shall Not Lack
    2026/08/27
Discover God's promise that you shall not lack as you trust the Good Shepherd to provide every need through unwavering faith. What does it mean when Scripture declares, "I shall not lack"? This sermon explores the strength of God's promise and encourages believers to reject doubt, fear, and double-mindedness. Rather than living according to circumstances, Christians are called to stand on the unchanging truth of God's Word and confidently believe that He faithfully provides everything they need.Beginning with Psalm 23:1, this message reveals the powerful relationship between the Good Shepherd and His sheep. As God's people, we are completely dependent upon Him, and just as a faithful shepherd protects, feeds, and cares for every sheep, Jesus continually watches over those who belong to Him. His provision is complete, and His care never fails.Philippians 4:19 and 2 Corinthians 9:8 reinforce that God supplies every need and blesses His children abundantly for every good work. Instead of striving in our own strength, we are invited to trust God's promises, seek His Kingdom, and rely on Him with wholehearted confidence. The sermon also explains how faith overcomes coveting and constant wanting. By believing Mark 11:24 and embracing God's promises, our desires become aligned with His will, allowing us to live with peace, contentment, and joyful expectation rather than continual dissatisfaction. Finally, Psalm 34:10 and 2 Corinthians 1:20 remind us that every promise of God is "Yes" in Christ. As we seek the Lord and respond with "Amen," we can confidently declare that we shall never lack because our Good Shepherd is faithful in every season.Referenced Verses:Psalm 23:1Psalm 100:3John 10:11Philippians 4:19Proverbs 31:21Psalm 91:1Psalm 91:112 Corinthians 9:8Mark 11:24Exodus 20:17Psalm 34:102 Corinthians 1:20-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world.
