Discover God's promise that you shall not lack as you trust the Good Shepherd to provide every need through unwavering faith. What does it mean when Scripture declares, "I shall not lack"? This sermon explores the strength of God's promise and encourages believers to reject doubt, fear, and double-mindedness. Rather than living according to circumstances, Christians are called to stand on the unchanging truth of God's Word and confidently believe that He faithfully provides everything they need.Beginning with Psalm 23:1, this message reveals the powerful relationship between the Good Shepherd and His sheep. As God's people, we are completely dependent upon Him, and just as a faithful shepherd protects, feeds, and cares for every sheep, Jesus continually watches over those who belong to Him. His provision is complete, and His care never fails.Philippians 4:19 and 2 Corinthians 9:8 reinforce that God supplies every need and blesses His children abundantly for every good work. Instead of striving in our own strength, we are invited to trust God's promises, seek His Kingdom, and rely on Him with wholehearted confidence. The sermon also explains how faith overcomes coveting and constant wanting. By believing Mark 11:24 and embracing God's promises, our desires become aligned with His will, allowing us to live with peace, contentment, and joyful expectation rather than continual dissatisfaction. Finally, Psalm 34:10 and 2 Corinthians 1:20 remind us that every promise of God is "Yes" in Christ. As we seek the Lord and respond with "Amen," we can confidently declare that we shall never lack because our Good Shepherd is faithful in every season.Referenced Verses:Psalm 23:1Psalm 100:3John 10:11Philippians 4:19Proverbs 31:21Psalm 91:1Psalm 91:112 Corinthians 9:8Mark 11:24Exodus 20:17Psalm 34:102 Corinthians 1:20-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world.
