    Happy Holidays from the Running Scared team of Robert Lendrum and Jamie Roberts. To get you in the festive spirit, we're reviewing a Canadian cult classic Black Christmas (1974). Although made on a small budget, it features some big Canadian acting talent and several key innovations for the genre of horror. That being said, is this a comedy or a cop movie? A genre bending art film or a cop out? What Benny HIll skit is Mrs. Mac from? Is Mr. Harrison the worst father on the planet? Crush a couple of Labbat 50s and get ready for a full 60 minutes of Running Scared Christmas convo.

    Back to back! Last week episode was sooo good we though we'd give you a double dose of the sisters! It's Christmas time and who's up for the "reindeer run" game! This is how you play: One sister runs and the other follows in a car, counting Christmas reindeer decorations in various neighborhoods with the ultimate goal to see who can spot more. Along the way they discuss their holiday experiences, including decorating, past breakups during Christmas, and participating in a virtual race organized by Justine.

    They then turn their attention to the true meaning of Christmas - gift$! They talk Christmas gift guide for runners, offering suggestions ranging from wearable items like running clothes and shoes to accessories like bib belts and recovery tools such as compression pants.

    The countdown to Christmas has began and let the Sole Sisters ring the bell!

    The sisters are back and this time they brought a friend! This week, Justine and Kylie chat with Cora Dunham about her running journey and coordinating virtual races. She shares her background in running, detailing her motivation from competitive challenges at her gym and her experience with local fun runs, including the themed "Dirty Wookie" race in Reno. They talk about Cora's passion for event coordination and the "Life of a Runner Girl" virtual 5K/10K she organized, which was inspired by a Taylor Swift album and served as a fundraiser for the mental health organization Still I Run. They finish off by discussing how running support positive mental health, fundraising tactics, and Cora's training for her upcoming first full marathon in Honolulu, while always highlighting the supportive nature of her local running community, the McKellar Run Club.
