    Linda Fischer is a mother of three active young boys. After the birth of her third child she was diagnosed with postnatal depression and hit rock bottom. She knew that something had to change, so she turned to running. It started out running 5k's which turned to 10k's then eventually to marathons and even ultramarathons! 

    In this episode we dive into how running has changed her life and provided her with an escape from the craziness of her day to day life. We also talk about how  much she simply loves running and how it has been a powerful tool in helping her deal with mental health struggles.

  • #5 Ben Blowes - 31 Marathons in 31 Days
    2021/03/10

    Ben Blowes completed  31 marathons in 31 days in December 2020. He raised a whopping total of nearly £200,000 pounds for Toms Trust, a charity dedicated to helping children with brain tumors.

     Ben attempted to run all marathons in under 4 hours and was able to do so until injuries arose and threatened to derail him from even finishing this challenge. In this episode, Ben and I talk about how he managed to complete 31 marathons in 31 days, how he was able to raise an so much money and the power from his local community as he embarked on this incredible challenge. 

     P.S. - He also holds a Guinness world record for completing a marathon with a tumble dryer on his back!!

  • #4 Pablo Miller - 5 Kilometres a Day for 1,000 Days

    Pablo Miller never considered himself a runner. He is now 335 days into running 5kms a day for 1000 days. After struggling with high workloads and an unhealthy diet, he decided enough was enough. 2 years ago, he started on a health kick and has lost 23 kilograms! He is a father and husband who works for Triple M Radio Network.

    In this episode, we discuss the role COVID-19 played in Pablo starting his running journey and why he's running 5kms a day for 1,000 days. We also discuss how running has changed his life and his best best advice for new runners or those wanting to start and so much more!

    Anna Hollis found herself struggling with her weight and decided to take action. So she started running. She lost an absolutely staggering 64 kilograms (142lbs) in 72 weeks. She is now an avid runner and has ran 4 half marathons with a personal best of 1:51:13.

    Cohen Aitken was struggling with depression and anxiety and decided it was time to make a change. He completed a 100 day sobriety challenge, working to bring himself back from the darkest places of the mind to achieve a better version of himself. On the 100th day of being sober he completed a marathon and in his words “running saved my life”.
