  • The Door He Kept Opening
    2026/05/30

We tend to picture grace as a single open door — offered once, taken or missed.

But some testimonies reveal a God far more patient than that.

This week on Paths to Glory, we trace the life of a woman who walked past that door for the better part of a lifetime. From a one-room house and a barefoot childhood in the Philippines. Through a Pentecostal couple on a crowded street, a missionary family who took her in, the Holy Ghost at seventeen. Through decades of drifting — one foot in the church, one foot in the world. Across an ocean. Through a phone book in her unconverted husband's hands. Until the quiet morning a pastor straightening chairs laid a hand on her head, and she finally understood what God had been doing the whole time.

He kept opening the door. He never stopped opening the door.

This is the story of what happened the day she finally walked all the way through.

  • The Destination
    2026/05/23

Every journey has a destination. But for the believer walking the path to glory, the destination is not simply a place on a map — it is a becoming. A conformation, as Paul described it in Romans 8:29, to the image of the Son. And it is also a place — a prepared, specific, glorious home promised by the Lord Jesus Himself in John 14. This week on Paths to Glory, we ask the question the last several episodes have been building toward: where does the path actually lead? And we discover that knowing the answer changes everything about how you walk.

  • The Provision
    2026/05/16

Every path requires provision. Not just at the beginning, when the road is new and the faith is fresh — but in the middle of the journey, when the supply looks low and the distance still looks long. This week on Paths to Glory, we open the Word and look at what God's provision has always looked like in the lives of those He has called — from the manna in the wilderness to the widow's oil that would not run out, from the cake baked on coals for a spent prophet to the promise of Philippians 4:19 that His supply is calibrated not to your circumstances but to His riches. God provides. But learning to recognize His provision when it comes in a form you did not request may be one of the most important things you ever do.

  • The Wilderness
    2026/05/09

Every path to glory runs through one. You may have called it a hard season, a difficult stretch, or simply the longest year of your life — but Scripture calls it by its name: the wilderness. Jacob wrestled in one. Israel wandered through one for forty years. Jesus was led into one by the very Spirit that had just descended upon Him. And in Deuteronomy 8:2, Moses looked back over forty years and told us exactly what the wilderness was for — to humble, to prove, and to reveal what is in the heart. This week on Paths to Glory, we spend time in the wilderness — not because it is comfortable, but because what happens there is too important to misunderstand. If you are in one right now, this episode is for you.

  • The Pathfinder
    2026/05/02

Every path to glory has one thing in common — someone went first. Someone moved through the wilderness ahead of you, marked the trees, and made a way where there was no way. In the language of exploration, that person is called a pathfinder. In the language of the church, we call them a soul winner. Solomon said it plainly in Proverbs 11:30 — He that winneth souls is wise. And centuries later, the prophet Daniel told us what God does with the wise — they shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness, as the stars for ever and ever. This week on Paths to Glory, we explore what it actually costs to do this work, what it requires of the person willing to do it, and why blazing a trail for someone else may be the most important thing you ever do. The path doesn't build itself. Someone has to go first.

  • From the Body to the Body
    2026/04/25

Some gifts travel farther than the hands that carry them. When a small group from Valley Pentecostal Church in Glendale, Arizona answered a call to minister at a National Ladies Conference in Bungoma, Kenya, they went believing they had something to offer. What they discovered on the other side of the world was that God had already been at work — long before their plane ever left the ground. In this final episode of our Kenya series, Pam Johnson and Alexis Banda share what they witnessed, what they felt, and what they could not leave behind. A conference. A room full of women. A moment that none of them were prepared for. And a love that needed no passport to travel. This is what happens when the body of Christ reaches across the world — and the world reaches back.

  • Before We Ever Arrived
    2026/04/11

Some stories are told after they happen.
This one begins before we ever arrive.

In this episode of Paths to Glory, we invite you into a moment that is still unfolding. As three generations prepare to travel to Kenya for a women’s conference, this is not a story of what God has already done—but of what we believe He is about to do.

With humility, we reflect on the weight of being entrusted with this opportunity, the trust of pastoral leadership in sending us, and the overwhelming awareness that we are not going alone. The prayers, faith, and expectation of the church go with us, connecting what God is doing here with what He is already doing there.

We do not yet know the faces we will meet, the stories we will hear, or the prayers we will witness being answered. But we do know this—God is already at work, and we are simply stepping into something that was set in motion long before we ever arrived.

This is more than a journey.
    It is an invitation.

Come with us—not after the story is told, but as it begins.
