  • Expanding Work and Managing Disappointment
    2026/05/31

    Send us Fan Mail

In this midseason episode Karin and Gloria discuss their experiences of working toward building professional networks and opportunities for their work. Business ventures, collaborations, and/or extensions of offerings can be emotionally draining and a place of vulnerability when we're not sure about who to work with and how personalities and processes will mesh even if on paper it looks like values and vision match. Gloria notes how following intuition helped guide her to follow through on an opportunity when other options didn't work out. Karin acknowledges actively learning to let go of disappointment so it doesn't derail her goals.

  • Individual Values and Social Responsibility
    2026/03/31

    Send us Fan Mail

In this episode Karin and Gloria discuss a social media post that states Americans infantilize ourselves and how that relates to shame, personal values, beliefs about cultural norms that hinder progress/action. After discussing what the prompt brought to the forefront for us individually, Gloria offers ideas for ways people can get involved and see the effects of action for themselves, others and their community. Is there willful ignorance? Do people understand or even care about how their representatives' decisions affect the larger world?
