  • Expanding Work and Managing Disappointment

In this midseason episode Karin and Gloria discuss their experiences of working toward building professional networks and opportunities for their work. Business ventures, collaborations, and/or extensions of offerings can be emotionally draining and a place of vulnerability when we're not sure about who to work with and how personalities and processes will mesh even if on paper it looks like values and vision match. Gloria notes how following intuition helped guide her to follow through on an opportunity when other options didn't work out. Karin acknowledges actively learning to let go of disappointment so it doesn't derail her goals.

In this episode Karin and Gloria discuss experiences of and perspectives on holding people accountable when harm has occurred and the person or people suspected of causing harm are people we like, admire or are in close relationship with, referencing an IG post on community by @nikeaurea. How should a community address instances of harm to rebuild trust and safety? What happens when there is denial of harm? Are some instances of harm irreparable?
