  • CASEBOOK: Live Intentionally
    2026/08/07

How do we “live our best life”? Sometimes we just need to be intentional about what we are doing, why we are doing it and who we are doing it with. Life is so fast these days that running on auto-pilot sometimes means the days disappear but you feel nothing really gets done…so Coach Nina Hobson challenges us to think about where we want to get to…and start in that direction, with purpose, one step at a time.

Our CASEBOOK podcasts are previous recordings on a theme or topic – This month, our final month of bonus episodes is about living our best life

  • What does aging well look like?
    2026/08/06

This is quite an interesting question because we are seeing a lot of uber-fit seniors these days – the 75 year olds running marathons, or the weightlifting pensioners…and while this is absolutely wonderful, for someone who isn’t running marathons at the age of 40…this might feel unattainable…so what do we aspire to when it comes to aging well? This is the question we put to psychologist, author and column writer Dr Denise Taylor – and it’s a joyful conversation. And by the way…we fell over, we didn’t “have a fall” (always!)

  • BETWEEN SESSIONS – Nice doesn’t just happen
    2026/07/31

Between sessions is when Dr Audrey reflects on what has been going on during the week – and this week it’s about how to keep things “NICE”…what I mean by that is, sometimes, when things feel really great to be a part of, we don’t always think about who made it that way…and without appreciation, recognition or support, some of those things might just slip away!

  • Showing Up, Self Criticism & Discipline
    2026/07/30

While we know that a critical voice can be very unhelpful, sometimes we need to have a firm word with ourselves. Jono Poon, speaker, consultant and The Man Cave Ambassador joins us to reflect on his physical training and how that provides a healthy metaphor for showing up for yourself.

  • BETWEEN SESSIONS – What’cha gonna do when the chips are down?
    2026/07/24

Between sessions is when Dr Audrey reflects on what has been going on during the week – and this week what happens when you can’t do any more? “The Chips are down” is a term more commonly used to describe a time things aren’t going well, BUT it’s original meaning is – when you’ve done all you can (the chips are played) now what? And when it comes to customer service, while it might not be your fault – it could well be your problem to solve. What happens when things have gone awry – and often out of your control – is often the time we – and brands – show their metal!

  • Changing the Mental Health Narrative for Children
    2026/07/23

It’s important to bring mental health language into schools – however, how do you keep it age-appropriate and meaningful? Dee Nixon founder of Hope4LifeNI and Nadia Lawrence have developed “Uberheroes” – a comic book where children explore the traits of the heroes and villains, create their own stories – and their own characters, as well as discuss the stories with teachers, parents and each other.

  • BETWEEN SESSIONS – Look up and see the glimmers
    2026/07/17

Between sessions is when Dr Audrey reflects on what has been going on during the week – and this week it’s about the importance of connecting in real life. Life isn’t always about “joy” and “thriving” and the extremes of emotion – even positive…sometimes we need to focus on the little day-to-day things that make us smile…even a little – so this episode encourages you to look up and see the glimmers…the small things, the little moment…and noticing more of those can turn into a much bigger impact.
