    We all know those rules and rituals we follow with eating that are driven by anxiety, and a need to feel "safe".

    Rules like "no eating before 12pm" or "I can't put anything in my coffee" or "no drinking liquid calories". When you've been dieting or restricting for a while, the rules accumulate and make the eating experience rigid, stressful and anxiety-producing.

    Chances are, you want to have more flexibility and freedom. You know it would actually serve you. But you can't get yourself to actually break your rules without spiraling into chaos.
