Ladies listen up! This episode is loaded with oodles of info on our ever changing bodies. We're talking perimenopause with not one but two baddies -- menopause specialist, Paula from MAUD Medical Care, and Steph Dekker, creator of Barely Craving Fullness Fibre Powder and busy mom who has graciously volunteered to share her own perimenopause symptoms with us.

Paula kicks things off by explaining the "zone of chaos", what the difference between perimenopause and menopause is, how you know you're in it and what to do if you are. We get the specifics on IUDs, symptoms, supplements, nutrition, how to talk to your doctor, and we learn exactly how to navigate this next chapter of life.

And at the 54:00 minute mark, Steph joins us to talk about her own symptoms, her amazing product, and the link and importance of fibre during this hyper-specific time.

Whether you’re deep in the chaos, just starting to notice changes, this episode is packed with practical information, validation, and a few laughs along the way.

  • Feel It to Heal It: People Pleasing, Cycle Breaking, Attuned Parenting and Big Feelings with Registered Psychologist Amy Wilson
    2025/10/14

    Send us Fan Mail

The Gals sit down with Registered Psychologist, and mom of two, Amy Wilson to answer their burning question: How do we keep our kids from becoming people pleasers?

Amy not only answers that question but also unpacks the 'why' behind people-pleasing, leading both of us to some major “aha” moments about how we developed those tendencies ourselves.

We also dive into gentle vs. attuned vs. ’90s parenting, breaking generational cycles, how to handle those tricky toddler tantrums and "neuro-spicy" kids. But above all, the biggest takeaway from this episode was it’s okay to have feelings.

We recorded this episode about a month before airing it, and I (Jess) can honestly say the parenting tools Amy shared have stuck with me and I’ve been using them on repeat ever since. We hope you find this conversation as valuable as we did <3
