    It’s just like creating an offer, except you are distilling everything into a polished framework.

    And it gives you leverage that you would not have simply by giving people desired results one to one. When you productize your knowledge, you are building intellectual property you own the rights to. And when you create your own digital content, it’s helping you to build a brand where people associate you with certain topics.

    The easiest way to understand this is, for example, if you publish a book you can become known as a thought leader in your field, because you are developing a strong association between yourself and the ideas you are presenting. And you become instantly newsworthy because you now have a way for the masses to interact with your brand and understand what value you provide.

    Doing this makes you unique and one-of-one in the marketplace. And that is ultimately the reason why people will pay you is because you have a unique methodology that generates results. So if you develop your polished framework that packages your unique methodology, you are able to generate even more leverage and scale your business.

    In this episode, I want to share with you the simple content matrix that will allow you to come up with never-ending content ideas to attract your ideal customers. Your content is the bridge between where they are right now and where they want to be. And if you can clearly demonstrate that you understand where they are coming from emotionally and you are able to paint a picture of the solution, cast a vision of the outcome, you’ve literally created a bridge in their mind between where they are and where the want to be. And you can present your offer as that bridge and not only will it be emotionally appealing but it will also make logical sense.

    Now that we know the emotionally triggering problems, and we know the ideal results that our product solves that our prospect wants, all we have to do is connect the two.

    And so you basically now have a never-ending hook generator because you know what is going to emotionally trigger your audience, all you have to do is test different ways of presenting it.

    And then the same principle applies with the value side of the content matrix - you can use the dream outcomes and the core desires to get inspiration for the value that you deliver in your content after the hook.

  • How To Be Omnipresent on Social Media

Who has the time for that? How is that even possible? Then this episode is for you!

    In this episode I’m going to share the underlying principle behind becoming omnipresent on social media and how to strategically expand your brand with content on different platforms.

    And then, I’m going to share with you a software tool that can help you be everywhere at once and help you grow multiple social media platforms in parallel with no extra work.

    So first, let’s talk about the strategy and principles for becoming omnipresent on social media.

    First I want to make a distinction between organic content and paid media.

    The main purpose of organic content is to build brand awareness and nurture your top of funnel community.

    The purpose of paid advertising is to maximize the amount of conversions on whatever it is that you are offering, whether that’s getting email optins for a free lead magnet, or trying to make as much revenue as possible on a 3 step sales funnel with a bunch of different offers.

    Omnipresence with these two types of content both have different strategies. And today I’m going to focus in on the organic content strategy for the purpose of building brand awareness and nurturing your top of funnel community.

    Now it takes on average a minimum of 11 touches in today’s social media ecosystem for a conversion to happen. Whether that conversion is a follow on TikTok, subscribing to your YouTube, or making a purchase from you, it takes both frequency and multiple different touch points for conversions to happen.

    And so that really is the goal with organic omnipresence and building a brand,

    If you can be on multiple platforms and showing up in front of people in multiple places, that will accelerate your conversions in your business.

  • What You Need To Know About Monetizing Your Platform and Niching Down
    2023/01/18

    There is a really important intersection between virality and the way the algorithm works that I think a lot of content creators, when they first start creating content don’t fully understand. Now, I’ve been reading a book by YouTube expert Derral Eves called The YouTube Formula

    I highly recommend it, it’s really good. I heard Darral speak last year at Funnel Hacking Live, and I learned some really important things about the psychology of why people buy and how to monetize your platform. And in the book, he mentions a concept that blew my mind. And if you are a business owner who is trying to use TikTok to reach a broader audience and generate sales, then this is going to be a really valuable framework to understand. So in the book, Derral talks about your two avatars. You have your audience avatar who will love consuming your content, and you have your customer avatar who will potentially purchase from you. And the key to growing your business with TikTok is to think of your customer avatar as a subset of your audience avatar. A lot of business owners, when they get started with publishing on TikTok,

    They want to just start talking to their audience as if they are warm traffic.

    Now obviously this makes sense because publishing content takes a lot of work, right?

    And so if you are going to publish content to a platform, ideally you want it to lead to customers and sales. The problem is that platforms like TikTok do NOT care about growing your business.

    They want to keep people on their platform as long as possible so that they can serve more ads and be profitable. That is their whole business model, right? And so when you get started on TikTok or any platform for that matter, you want to create content specifically for your audience avatar, content that has broader appeal. Because, if you focus on creating content for your audience avatar and create content that has broader appeal, then you are aligning with the platform’s goals of keeping people engaged and on the platform. And so you are allowing TikTok to scale your customer base for you. So if you are a business owner, it is extremely important to create content that has a broader appeal than just your customer avatar. And then once you establish yourself on the platform and gain an audience, then you can talk to the subset of your audience that is your potential customers. Now, you hear a lot of talk on TikTok these days about how ‘you are the niche’ and ‘become the niche’ and to get rid of this idea of niching down and make your platform more about you. And this idea has merit in the sense that you want to create content that has broader appeal. But if you are a business owner, don’t throw the concept of having a niche out the window. It’s all about branding. Branding is about making it easy for people to understand what value you provide in the marketplace. And so while it’s important to create content that has broader appeal, it's also extremely important to brand yourself in a way that your potential customers understand what value and transformation you provide and who you provide it to, and that means understanding what niche you are in.

  • Is TikTok The Right Platform For Your Business?

    Ok so in this episode I’m going to be going over a list of super-niche TikTok accounts that are absolutely crushing it for their business with their content on the TikTok platform. They are generating highly targeted traffic to their offers. Go check out those accounts when you get a chance to get some inspiration for how you can use TikTok for your business: @miss.excel / @lawbymike / @claycarvingasmr / @cryptomasun / Now I want to share with you a super ninja tactic that not a lot of people are taking advantage of on the TikTok platform that can help you get tons more targeted traffic to your business. Using keywords when creating your username and handle is something that you absolutely should do. TikTok is still a blue ocean in terms of keyword traffic. And if you use the right keywords that your ideal customers are searching for, you can rank in organic search on the app. The mistake that a lot of people make is that they want to make their username or their handle the name of their brand. And there’s nothing wrong with that, but you might as well create your account with the intention of showing up organically for your desired keyword. So when you are creating your TikTok account, consider structuring it in a way that is going to give you maximum organic reach. Hope you enjoyed listening to this podcast episode!
