  • Day 5: Action - Moving from Insight to Micro Steps (so you actually do it)
    2025/01/31

You made it to Day 5 of The Calm Mind Blueprint! 🎉 Give yourself a pat on the back right now — you showed up for yourself all week.

I'm Sam, a clarity coach who helps high-achieving women stop bringing work stress home. This is the final step of the Calm Mind Blueprint: turning your Day 4 clarity into actual action.

But not just any action—MICRO STEPS. The kind you'll actually do today.

In this 7-minute episode, I walk you through:

    • How to turn your desires into a bullet-point action list
    • Breaking big actions into bite-sized micro steps (my examples: having a tough conversation = 3 steps, hiring a sitter = just look at your calendar first)
    • Why smaller is better (and how to choose your ONE step for today)

Today's focus: Based on what you identified on Day 4, what's ONE micro-step you can take today to get closer to what you actually want?

Real examples from my own overwhelm:

    • Unplugging from work at a set time
    • Hiring a sitter for weekend support
    • Having a boundary conversation (broken into: reach out, create outline, have the talk)

  • Day 4: Clarity - Identifying What you Want, Need, & Deserve
    2025/01/30

Ever catch yourself saying "I don't even know what I want anymore"?

That's exactly why you're here—Day 4 is where the fog clears.

Here's where we've been in the Blueprint:

    • Day 1: Became aware of what's actually happening beneath the "I'm fine"
    • Day 2: Identified the meaning, judgments, and expectations you're attaching to it
    • Day 3: Got curious about whether those beliefs are actually true

Today? We're getting clear on what you actually want.

In this 4-minute guided journaling session:

    • I walk you through a quick visualization to tap into the peace that already exists within you (it takes seconds)
    • You'll journal on: What do I actually want? How do I want to feel? How do I want to show up?
    • You'll picture yourself in the moment—your entire day or a specific situation

Today's focus: Based on everything you've uncovered about your beliefs (what's true, what's not, what's yours to carry), what is it that you actually want?

Permission granted: Nothing is off limits today. Today is your day to dream. Tomorrow we take action to create it, but today? Stay in that zone of desire.

You are worthy of feeling however you want to feel and receiving whatever you want to receive.

  • Day 3: Curiosity - Questioning the Beliefs Keeping You on Autopilot
    2025/01/29

Ever post something on Instagram (or celebrated am accomplishment), and immediately feel shame for sharing it? Like you shouldn't have "thrown it in people's faces"?

That's exactly what happened to my client Liz after posting about a Taylor Swift concert (and my client Kristi who bought a boat but never included it when talking about her summer plans for fear of 'bragging') — and it's what Day 3 is all about.

Where we've been in the Blueprint:

    • Day 1: Became aware of what's happening
    • Day 2: Identified the meaning, judgments, and expectations you're attaching to it

Today? We're questioning if any of that is actually true.

    In this 5-minute episode:

    • The one main question that changes everything: "Is that true?"
    • How to play devil's advocate with the beliefs running on autopilot in your mind
    • Liz's story: Posted about Taylor Swift, felt immediate guilt ("I should be settling down, not going to concerts alone"), worried friends were judging her for spending money on "frivolous" things

    The questions she asked herself:

    • Is it true I'm supposed to settle down RIGHT NOW?
    • Is it true I can't go to concerts AND settle down?
    • Is it true spending on an epic once-in-a-lifetime concert is frivolous?
    • Is it true all my friends were jealous and none of them supported me?

What she realized: Her friends were mostly moms or partnered — they couldn't just get up and go like she could. So they were either jealous OR supportive (probably the latter). Concerts ARE worth it to her. She worked hard to have the freedom to take some time off of work to go to the concert. And SHE was the one holding the "settle down" expectation—not anyone else.

Today's journaling: Question the validity of the meanings, judgments, and expectations you identified yesterday. It might take a minute to sit in stillness before anything comes. That's okay. Embrace it.

No right or wrong answers here. We're just questioning the beliefs that have been running the show.

  • Day 2: Meaning - Why You Feel Like You're Dropping the Ball
    2025/01/28

You came back! That's huge—because Day 2 of the Blueprint is where most people skip ahead too fast.

After becoming aware of what you're feeling (Day 1), the natural instinct is to jump straight to problem-solving. "This is how I'm feeling, this is why, so I should just DO THIS to fix it."

But jumping to solutions too quickly? You're skipping over a massive piece.

What you're missing: The judgments, expectations, and meanings you're attaching to everything.

    In this 3-minute episode:

    • Why it's NOT true that "it doesn't matter what other people think" (that phrase just forces you to stifle your actual feelings)
    • Today's chance to honor the judgments you have for yourself (or feel from others)
    • The expectations you're trying to live up to
    • The meanings you're attaching to everything you wrote in Day 1

    Today's journaling prompts:

Look at what you wrote yesterday and ask yourself:

    • What meaning am I attaching to this?
    • What do I think others are thinking about me?
    • What expectations am I trying to live up to?
    • Where do I feel like I'm dropping the ball?
    • Where am I judging myself?

Permission granted: Be as petty as you want. Be honest. Release any criticism. Write for 2 minutes—or write 2 words. Whatever comes forward is exactly what you're supposed to feel today.

Why this matters: "This day is one of the biggest breakthroughs that people have."

  • Day 1: Awareness - What's Actually Happening Beneath Your Overwhelm
    2025/01/27

Feeling overwhelmed as a working mom? Constantly stressed but not sure why you can't decrease it? This is your starting point.

I'm Sam, a clarity coach who helps high-achieving women stop bringing work stress home. During my divorce, running my business, and being a single mom, I felt overwhelmed every single day.

This strategic journaling framework is what pulled me through, and I've since used it with hundreds of women.

In this episode, we're starting with awareness—the foundation for any real change. Not the "let's fix this immediately" kind of awareness. The "let's finally see what's actually happening" kind.

What you'll learn in this 5-minute guided journaling session:

    • How to break down your overwhelm (what's happening, who's involved, what you're actually feeling)
    • Where to locate stress and tension in your body
    • How to get radically honest with yourself without judgment (your journal is your safe space to be as petty as you want)

Today's journaling prompt: We're not trying to solve anything. We're simply becoming aware of what's happening beneath the "I'm fine" and why you're feeling overwhelmed.

Permission to journal imperfectly: Misspell words. Messy handwriting. Bullet points. Doodles. Whatever your page looks like is perfect.
