  • #186: God Is - Dr. Robert J. Fryson
    2026/09/07
On today's podcast episode, Dr. Cheryl Hardy reminds us of who God is. Music can soothe us for moments, days, months, and years. God is the joy and strength of my life, and it is so important to focus on the greatness of the God we serve. He has promised to keep me no matter what comes my way; I have come too far to turn back now. God can remove all pain, misery, and strife, for this is the real deal.

God is so wonderful, and I appreciate the talented writers who take the time to explore a song and let it touch our spirits. When we end our podcast, ninety percent of the time, we share that God is our source, and He is truly the strength of our lives. Have a purposeful day, love God, and make time for Him. • #183: Who Told You That- You Are Great
    2026/08/17

On today's podcast episode, Dr. Cheryl Hardy is reminding you that you are great. Who told you that you are not a good person or that you are defined by your struggles? Do not accept that false narrative as your reality. You are a work in progress and a precious jewel on this earth, purposefully designed by God.

We must remain vigilant against those who attempt to undermine our success or set us up for failure. Do not let anyone steal your daily joy. When negative thoughts arise, acknowledge them, let them pass, and immediately replace them with positive affirmations. It is never acceptable for parents, family, or friends to resort to mockery or name-calling; such behavior damages the body, mind, and spirit. That burden is too heavy to carry alone, so let us choose to lead with the fruit of the Spirit—love and kindness—starting today.

We are looking forward to you being a part of the God and Therapy Community. To get connected, send me an email and let me know that you want to be included.

    2026/08/10

In today's podcast episode, Dr. Cheryl Hardy is sharing her thoughts on this question: What in the world is going on?

This world can be so overwhelming, and life can grip you in many different ways. We must remember that we are not of this world and that we have a way of escape in the Word of God; learning to lean and depend on that solid truth will help us grasp peace daily. We must learn how to move up, move on, and push the reset button in our lives quite often. So, take your time today and move at a steady pace and rhythm. Perhaps you may even have to drop the to-do list just for today.

  • #181: Let's Talk About Grief - What's in your grief case?
    2026/08/03

Today we are talking about grief—an emotion we often dismiss, assuming it should only last for a short period. That is far from the truth. Grief is an enduring experience, and it is so important to feel, deal, and heal.

This conversation explores feelings, life, suicide, and the different types of grief, including ambiguous grief, delayed grief, anticipatory grief, and normal grief. We also discuss why corporate America typically grants only three days of bereavement leave, often failing to account for the loss of a friend, aunt, cousin, or emotional support pet. We also highlight the reality of caregiver grief.

Additionally, Dr. Kence highlights the Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23, reminding us that kindness is something needed every day and everywhere.

Since this is one of our longest episodes, please share your thoughts and comments. Feel free to share where you are listening from by emailing us at godandtherapypodcast@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Peace, love, and grace,

    Dr. Hardy
