Today we are talking about grief—an emotion we often dismiss, assuming it should only last for a short period. That is far from the truth. Grief is an enduring experience, and it is so important to feel, deal, and heal.
This conversation explores feelings, life, suicide, and the different types of grief, including ambiguous grief, delayed grief, anticipatory grief, and normal grief. We also discuss why corporate America typically grants only three days of bereavement leave, often failing to account for the loss of a friend, aunt, cousin, or emotional support pet. We also highlight the reality of caregiver grief.
Additionally, Dr. Kence highlights the Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23, reminding us that kindness is something needed every day and everywhere.
