  • What If the Easy Meal Was Food You Actually Like?
    2026/08/18

I didn’t set out to become a meal-prep person. I just wanted quick lunches and dinners that I actually wanted to eat.

In Episode 1, I introduce the basic idea behind Freezer Meal Shortcuts: cook food you already enjoy, portion it in useful amounts, freeze it, and make future meals easier.

Sometimes that means freezing a complete meal. Other times it means freezing individual components—like cooked chicken, ground beef, rice, vegetables, sauces, or gravy—so you can mix and match them later.

This isn’t about spending an entire weekend making dozens of freezer meals. It’s about using the cooking you’re already doing to make life a little easier later.
