  • Leading with Your Truth with Harry Max
    2022/07/06

Ever find yourself scrambling to keep up or feeling like you've lost control of your timeline? Not sure how to get back on track or what got you off track to begin with? It could be that you're not focusing on the most important things.  In this podcast I chat with leadership development coach and writer, Harry Max (bio below). Harry shares some key premises from his upcoming book on prioritization, why it's important, as well as some of  his lessons learned along the way. We explore what it looks like to bring our humanity to work, how to be our truest selves and to lead with that truth, what it looks like when we don't, and the impacts of when we do.

    About Harry:
Harry Max is all about empowering individuals, teams, and leaders to improve in times of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity through one-on-one executive leadership development coaching, consulting, training, and at times hands-on operational leadership.

Current and former clients include executives, founders, operational leaders, and key talent at companies that include Apple, Adobe, Dell, Dictionary.com, Google, HP, Ithaka, Informatica, Microsoft, O’Reilly, Rackspace, Silicon Image, SAP, Skype, Slack, Symantec, Yahoo, and Yotascale who find themselves in need of an experienced and technically-savvy collaborator.

Harry is writing a book on prioritization (for business). Surprisingly, few books have been published on this critical topic.

The vast majority of people, teams, and organizations are overwhelmed and underperforming continuously lurching from one “urgent” project to the next…while failing to make sustainable progress on what’s most important.

The reason? We lack the knowledge and skills to prioritize. In Priorities, the book, Harry reveals a powerful 5-step prioritization process that combines strategies, frameworks, techniques, tools to help you prioritize anything, anytime, anywhere.

By showing you how to “prioritize prioritization,” you’re able to consistently create better plans and make more informed decisions, and systematically close the gap between where you are and where you want or need to be.
