  • FU*K yo plans!
    2022/12/12

You know when you spend the time to plan things out with your family, your life, your friends and get it all in order just to have those plans SMACKED down because of life events beyond our control? Yeah, we thought so. From stupid COVID that literally ruined EVERYONES plans for 2020, to surprise pregnancies, changes in employment, to the loss of a family member or friend; life is happening and constantly moving around us and does not stop to ask us "Is this a good time?" How rude... BUT you roll with the punches, you try not to let it set you back too far and you move forward.

What kind of plans did you have that LIFE said, "NOPE! Not today!" ?

  • REVIEWS! Games, toys, and products
    2022/10/25

There are many essential things you need when raising a child like blankets, diapers, bottles, a crib... what about some non-cliché essentials like toys and games? We discuss games and toys we enjoyed playing growing up and the kind of games/toys our children like to play.

We talk products we felt that were AMAZING and essential to us as parents and GREAT to have in your home if you have small kiddos. Some things just aren't worth the hype and money like Keurigs that brew your formula or wipe warmers that dry out your wipes.

What kind of products/games/toys have you LOVED and what did you feel like was a waste of time and money? Share your experiences, stories, reviews, feedback at allmom.nopros@gmail.com or shoot us a message on FB @allmomnopros

  • Emotional Support and all the Feels
    2022/10/18

::to the tune of Whitney Houston:: "I get so emotional BABAAY" - Yes, Whitney... Yes we do! We're women,.. we're Mothers... we can't help it! Not even the fact that our hormones are f**ked six ways to Sunday from menstrual cycles, the before, during AND and after pregnancy, we take on our children's and partners emotions too! It's a lot to take in and process just from a day to day standpoint but we pack it on, take it in, put some here, and stick some there... and then... EXPLOSION!

How do you keep from getting to that point? Do you worry about your feelings spilling over to your partner and children? How do you deal when emotions run high and you feel overwhelmed... or bogged down... or like you just aren't enough. Do you have a good support system?

Let us know your thoughts, ideas, suggestions at allmom.nopros@gmail.com

This episode was recorded before some others that have already been released. Due to lack of editing software, some silence cuts and minor voiceover changes have been made** I'm editing from my iphone, y'all LOL!

  • Childhood: Then and Now
    2022/10/10

Growing up is different for every child - every childhood contains unique experiences and moments that shape and mold who we are as adult individuals. In this latest episode we talk about our personal childhoods and how we feel they have affected our parenting styles. We reminisce on the good times from back in the day (which was mainly 80s/90s/00s era for us) and the rough times we went through as kids. Through the great memories and the hard ones, our children today will have a much different story to tell.

  • Balance and Self care
    2022/10/02

Motherhood is a balancing act that takes years to figure out and make work; it can get overwhelming with the many hats we wear as mothers, partners, and as women in general.

What do you do when it all becomes too much?

Do you have an escape that you run or turn to?

Do you have affirmations you tell yourself to get through some days?

Can you even FIND the time to break away for 10 minutes and decompress from your day?

For those working moms who bust ass all day (or night, lol, we don't know you) and still come home, lay that purse down, tear that bra off and put your Mom face on, to the stay at home moms who never get a break from being AT HOME! Both can be extremely stressful and we want to know the things you do to relax and get some ME time in.

  • Expectations vs. Reality
    2022/09/25

What kind of expectations did you have when becoming a new Mom? Did any of those hold up or prove true? How about the things you DIDN'T expect or anticipate? This episode we talk a lot about the learning curves, the adjustments, the discoveries you make when navigating through this new world of parenthood.

Wait... we have to keep track of when they poop? AND what it looked like? Great... definitely did not see that in the fine print, but, you pick these things up as you go. You learn to adapt and adjust to your situation. Comparing your experience with what you see in another parents journey does not mean HOW you go about doing things is wrong or is right.

There are books, articles, blogs, TV shows that can tell you how to parent, but it's not exactly a one size fits all kind of thing is it? Every child, every mother, every pregnancy, every birth is unique and different.

    2022/09/25

This mini-episode is basically a shortened summary of what Raela was talking on in the first episode after her mic cuts out - if you still listened despite not being as audible as I feel it was, then you can skip on ahead to Episode 2!!!
