この作家さんサイコパス男を登場させるのが定番なのかな？一番怖いのはやっぱ夫だと思った。てか、彼女の未来はハッピーエンドかと思いきや、かなり危ぶまれる。というのも、ハイスペ男と結婚できたはいいかもだけど、この男は離婚するときに汚い手を使った実績はある。本人はこれまで最低賃金で働いてきているから、もしいつか離婚ということになったら生活苦になってしまう。それに今は若くて美しいけど、それもいつかは変わるし、相手は年齢も経済力も知恵も彼女より圧倒的に上だ。もし敵に回したらかなりやばい。親権もこの男に100%取られてしまいそう。早く逃げて〜！！と思う。
個人的には暴力的な女性が出てくるthe handmaideの方がスカッとしてよかった。
