Avi's into old-school emo bands, true crime, and cryptids. And if not many others share his interests, he's cool with that, as long as he doesn't run out of weed. But then he moves from Brooklyn to Boston with his mom, which isn't a big deal . . . until she announces she's seeing someone and he happens to have a son Avi's age. As his mom's relationship gets more serious, they all move in together, and under the same roof as his future stepbrother, Avi's never felt more out of place.

“What took you so long, my Angel?” As a scared child, amidst screams and gunpowder, I looked into the eyes of the devil. “Ojos abiertos, boca cerrada.” Finger lifted to his lips, he quelled my tears when he saw me. “Hush, little bird… Eyes open, mouth shut.” He let me live. But you see, El Diablo is not stupid. He knew one day I would come for my revenge. For years, I’ve been trapped in the cage of a stolen existence, dreaming of one thing, above all else… Sangre por sangre. Blood for blood.

To the unassuming observer, Ben Lockwood is your typical suburban dad. Aside from the fact that he's only thirty-six and his daughter is a sophomore in college. He and his wife, Jessica, had their only daughter, Hailey, when they were in high school. So you can imagine the unease Ben is feeling when said daughter brings her new boyfriend home for Thanksgiving… To stay in their house for the whole weekend.

My name is Tate Eckhart, and I love my life. I have a great job, a sick wardrobe, drive a fancy car, and sip scotch old enough to be my Daddy. I’m fine with being known as the bad guy, the troublemaker, and the unattached harlot out of all my friends. Hey, if the Burberry loafer fits, right? Money, control… lust, no strings attached. It’s how I’ve been living since that one night, back in college when I stepped over a line with one of my closest friends, only to discover the truth. Love is for suckers.

So, you fell in love with your daughter's boyfriend. What happens next? I'll tell you…You finally begin to live again. You take trips, celebrate anniversaries, and attend your first Pride parade as an out-and-proud polyamorous throuple, apparently.

Welcome to the Podcast where I talk about everything!

Communikarma is where psychology meets real life: negotiations that stall, teams that wobble, relationships that hit snags. If you want to understand the hidden mechanics of human behaviour — and respond with a bit more strategy — this is the place. We look at the classic missteps, talk to people who’ve been through the storm, and unpack what actually helps. Hosted by Nyla Naseer, it’s a space to learn, be entertained, and make sense of what on earth is going on.

The days of allowing my inner depravity to run wild are over. I've been sent to prison for good, something of a celebrity in this dark, dank hell-hole they call Alabaster Penitentiary. The only thing I have left to offer the world is my story, and unfortunately for me, the Warden has the rest of my life to get it out of me. Being poked and prodded, examined and tested on isn't something I enjoy very much. Until they send him...

Correctional officers get a bad rep. But in our case, it's fully justified. We're not good people. We're guard dogs. As twisted as the inmates we patrol, courtesy of the monster who created us. Prisoners ourselves on an island of manipulation, we've spent years drowning in vices to dull reality. If these walls could talk, I'm telling you, they'd scream.

Hosts Daniel Gray, Matt Fogarty & Devin Jones explore old media that hasn't aged well and discuss and debate whether the media stands the test of time or not. Not everything is forever and we discuss why not. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The Progress Jury is a podcast independently produced and presented by Nyla Naseer. It is a balanced look at change and whether some progress areas, often with noble aims, translate over time into harmful, funny and unintended outcomes. Topics range from the internet (a frequent calling point) to love, work, the economy and how we are developing as a society. The podcast is a weird mixture of group discussion, personal observations and old-fashioned conversation. A little bit curious, quite skeptical, always revealing. Challenge your stereotypes and tune in!

For kids by kids, Nyla and winter and guest co-host, Isa, discuss the news, sports, tell jokes, and share stories written by them and their elementary and middle school friends.

I am Nyla Lovelock, a Brooklyn, New York, native who is 18 years old. At the moment, I'm a student at Atlanta, Georgia's Spelman College. Young people's honesty will be respected on this podcast, which is being hosted by @nylalovelock, as they share their personal stories and opinions on the news. The goal is for listeners to feel at peace, relate to what is being said, and understand that any challenges or barriers life throws our way will ultimately help us get where we need to be in life.

This is Alabaster Penitentiary... Where they send you when the world thinks you're dead. And trust me, you'll wish you were. We're the stain on society. The freaks, the creeps, your favorite Netflix documentaries come to life. They lock us up and throw away the key, because we deserve it. But not me. I'm just a lowly bank robber. I don't belong here, surrounded by psychopaths and killers with no remorse... At least, I don't think I do.

We all have fears we must face, fears that prevent us from going above and beyond in life, but it's not just fears; it's past insecurities and traumas as well. And instead of confronting the things that scare us the most, we mask and hide from our dreams and future, afraid we might mess up. Every month, join @nylasedwards in facing her fears as she navigates the world of fashion and the everyday challenges life throws. Talking about the past and present, we're going Beyond the Face and headed into the future.

I don’t think many people know that the moon is not actually a perfect sphere; it is in fact shaped slightly like a lemon with bulges on both sides. Or that a day on Mercury lasts longer than a year. These are just a few of the many interesting facts that you will discover about space in this audiobook. If you’re like me, anything space related will fascinate you; there is just something exciting about the big wide world out there beyond Earth, the many unknowns, and the interesting facts that are being discovered on a daily basis.

Walking is the most natural means of getting around under your own steam and the only sustained dynamic exercise that is possible for nearly all of us to participate in. No special skills or equipment are required, and you can do it anywhere. Walking is flexible enough to be accommodated into occupational and domestic routines, as well as for leisure or specific fitness training. Exploring the evolutionary and historical importance of walking, this book uncovers how the principles that motivated people to walk in the past are even more relevant in the 21st century.
