    MY WHY:

    I have always loved working in the food industry, server, bartender, and restaurant business. Growing up on a large farm in the Midwest has given me inspiration to help others learn how to eat wisely and how to spend money sensibly on food. With a full-time job and kids, I feel I’m relatable when it comes to all the above on what most of us are looking for in life.

    WE ARE MAKING: Sourdough Bread 🍞

    So when you feed it, you do 51 grams of starter, and 50 grams of filtered water, mix it together, then add 50 grams of flour and mix that back together. I put it back in my mason jar and let it rise for 4 hours on the counter or in the microwave just to sit, you want it in a warm place to rise, usually 70-72 degrees.

    In a bowl 100 grams of starter.Add 325 grams of water.Mix together .Add 475 grams of flour. Mix. Add 10 grams of sea salt. Mix. It should be lumpy and not formed. Leave in a bowl on the counter & every 30 mins you will do stretch and fold 3x. Place it in a warm spot for 6-12 hours for it to double in size

    Then roll up from bottom to top. Shape dough into loaf, flip upside down in bowl or basket and put in fridge for 12-15 hours. Preheat oven (with Dutch oven in the oven) to 450° . Flip loaf over score and bake covered 450° for 30 minutes - then uncovered for another 20-30 minutes at 400° or until bread is 206° internally. Remove and set on rack for 1-2 hours before cutting into!

    Ingrediants:

    • 1 large bell pepper, your color choice
    • 8oz cooked farm fresh beef
    • Spices or other ingredients for meat mix
    • 1/2 onion diced up (for meat)
    • 1-2 tomatoes diced (for meat)
    • Garlic, Chili Powder, Cumin, Rice or Riced noodles too!
    • Slices of cheese, Mozarella/Swiss and Colby Jack/Cheddar
    • ANY other seasonings you would like

    Instructions:

    • Slice the pepper into 3 or 4 rings
    • Remove the seeds
    • Add your rings to a nice tight fitting crock or pan (they will keep their form)
    • Add your white cheese at the base for a bottom
    • Add your meat mix
    • Add your yellow cheese on top
    • Bake at 350 for 20-30. minutes
    • When finished, I did use a Lo temp broil for 3-5 minutes
    • Enjoy!

    Ingrediants:

    • 1 large pre cooked chicken breast
    • 8oz cream cheese - softened
    • Olive Oil
    • 1/2 -1 qt jar of fermented noodles (2-3 days in salt water brine with rosemary and other seasonings) E34 of Season 2
    • Garlic
    • Rosemary (add to your salt brine)
    • Bacon bits for a topping if you'd like
    • ANY other seasonings you would like

    Instructions:

    • Add the Cream Cheese, oil, and garlic to your baking pan, put into the over as it preheats to soften the cheese
    • Remove and mash the oil, cheese and garlic together keeping it in the pan
    • Add your zoodles and pre cooked chicken to the cheese mix
    • Return to the over for 20 minutes at 375
    • When finished, mix it all up and serve with a side of sourdough bread and top it off with some bacon bits if you'd like, that's how we ate it!

    Ingrediants:

    • 1 large pre cooked chicken breast
    • 8oz cream cheese - softened
    • 6 jumbo pasta shells
    • Artichoke Hearts
    • ANY seasonings you would like

    Instructions:

    • Boil Pasta Noodles - Al Dente
    • Mix the cream cheese, shredded chicken, artichoke hearts
    • - You can also add spinach and tomatoes here if you'd like
    • Place shells into a 9x9 pan
    • Add the mix to your pasta by filling each one
    • It gets messy and that is OKAY!
    • Add shredded mozzarella or parmasian cheese to the top
    • Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes to get that cheese melted
    • Remove let cool for 5 minutes
    • Enjoy!

    Ingrediants:

    • 1 large yellow squash
    • 4 c broth
    • 2 large shiitake mushrooms
    • Fresh Garlic
    • 4 tomatoes
    • 4 Carrots
    • ANY other vegetables you would like

    Instructions:

    • Clean out the seeds on the squash (trim ends and slice in 1/2)
    • Trim all vegtables
    • Place all vegetables on a cookie sheet
    • Add olive oil all over (extra is ok), Add Salt and Pepper
    • Place tray in oven on 425-450 for 20-40 minutes
    • When your squash looks soft and tan it should be done
    • Add all ingredients to blender/food processor (remove squash skins)
    • Add 4 c broth
    • Add 1 round of Boursin cheese
    • Puree it all into a soup add more salt and pepper to liking
    • Enjoy!

    Ingrediants:

    • 3 large onions, any kind, farm fresh
    • 1 qt size jar
    • 2 tbl pure salt
    • Fresh Thyme
    • 4 c water (not tap)

    Instructions:

    • Mix up the onions (sliced) & thyme
    • Mix salt & water, pour over onions, mix well
    • Allow to sit for 30 minutes
    • Add mix to a 1 at jar
    • Stuff Full & press down using weight or outter part of the onion
    • Add all the brine, if you need more mix 1 tbs salt: 4 c water mix, pour into jar until it overfills
    • Add lid to jar, do not seal tight, it needs to release gas
    • In 2 weeks with a Ph at 4.1 or lower Enjoy!
    • Store with lid tight in fridge for months

    Ingrediants:

    • 2 tomatoes - Roma is less juicy
    • 1 pizza crust of your choice
    • 1 small jar of pesto - homemade is great too
    • Mozzarella - pre sliced or a ball
    • Boursin Cheese - flavor of your choice

    Instructions:

    • Heat up the oven to 350 brush crust with 1 tbs olive oil
    • Pre-Bake the crust for 8 minutes
    • Allow to slightly cool, then add the creamy Boursin cheese
    • Add the pesto sauce to your liking
    • Next add the tomato slices
    • Add the slices of mozzarella
    • Bake at 350 for 8 minutes or to your liking, remove let cool
    • Enjoy!

    WE ARE MAKING: Homemade Kombucha 🍯🍶

    Ingrediants:

    • 4-8 tea bags, any flavor/ black or green
    • 1 gallon glass jar, 1/2 gallon glass jar, 2 quarts
    • 1 scoby or 2 if you are making 2 quarts
    • 1/2 c or 1 c (sweetness level) Honey or 1 cup of sugar

    Instructions:

    • Heat up the the tea and honey (8 bags for 1 gallon, 4 for 1/2 gal)
    • Remove bags after 5-10 min and allow to cool, under 80*
    • Add (gently) scoby on top - remember it is a live culture
    • Cover your jar with a cloth and rubber band - It needs to breathe
    • Place in your pantry or somewhere cool
    • Allow it to ferment for 1-2 weeks (depending on you liking)
    • When time is up, remove scoby onto a plate, keep it moist to keep it alive
    • Strain drink into bottles and place in your refridgerator- keeps for 2-4 weeks
    • Enjoy - I add carbonation to mine for fun - sodastream (link in linktree)
    • If you need to make a scoby
    • 1-2 c tea and 5 tbl honey in a glass jar - cover with cloth - sit in pantry for 2 weeks
    • Set scoby aside (slime on top) -Keep original tea - Add BOTH to the above recipe and continue repeating weekly or bi weekly for your health benefits!
