  • How To Balance Your Hormones
    2025/04/09

Welcome back to You Are Light Podcast my lovelies! I’ve missed you.

In this episode, I’m diving into all the things I’m doing to support my hormone health naturally. From changes in my nutrition and movement to emotional healing and the exact supplements I’m taking right now, this is a gentle, holistic approach to feeling more in sync with your body.

This one’s especially for anyone navigating PCOS (I will talk more about this on the next episode), preparing for pregnancy, or just wanting to feel more balanced and connected in their cycle.

In this episode I talk about:

    • Why I stopped intermittent fasting

    • The link between stress and hormone imbalances

    • How I’m supporting ovulation and blood sugar naturally

    • Cleaning up my skincare routine for hormone health

    • Emotional healing, ancestral trauma, and craniosacral therapy

    • The extra vitamins and supplements I’m using daily

Here’s a list of the supplements I’m currently taking and why:

    • Probiotic – To support gut health and improve nutrient absorption

    • Alpha-Lipoic Acid – For blood sugar balance and antioxidant support

    • Myo-Inositol Blend (QSTA) – Helps with insulin sensitivity and LH regulation in PCOS

    • CoQ10 – Supports egg quality and cellular energy

    • Multivitamin (Vegan Vitality) – Covers daily nutritional needs and helps prevent deficiencies

    • Magnesium – Helps regulate stress, sleep, mood, and hormone levels

    • Omega-3 (Vegan DHA/EPA) – Reduces inflammation and supports hormone communication

    • Choline & Inositol (Solgar) – Supports liver detoxification and further hormone balance

    • Methyl Folate (Now) – Vital for preconception and healthy methylation

    • Evening Primrose Oil – Taken from cycle day 1 to ovulation to support cervical fluid and reduce PMS

    • Milamend Powder – Optional extra support for hormone regulation and energy (still testing this one)

Thanks for listening... I’m so happy to be back.

Here's a link to my You Are Light JOURNAL if you're interested!

If this episode helped or inspired you, feel free to share it with a friend. Don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss the next one, where I’ll talk about my recent blood test results and what they’ve revealed.

    Big love,

    Izzy 💛
